Probably a minority view, but way OTT imo. I got called a cunt twice directly within a few minutes in the Summer, by someone with a previous ban and nothing visible happened. A permanent ban for being rude seems inconsistent with this irrespective of his previous.

In all seriousness it looks heavy handed. Banning him and letting others who've put the boot in of late on one poster with no actual contribution and another who called Alan "a septic who should stick to GRID iron" stay is a weird look.

Don't want to ban anyone really, it's all a load of bollocks really. You may have noticed a distinct lack of giving a shit from me lately. Not sure why I am an admin....although i do love a user title name change

All I can say is a ton of bans/warnings/complaints have led us here. The actual thing that got the ban was nothing major but just put another issue on the pile for the Mods to deal with. Stuff that never gets seen out in the open.

Don't think we have a Ban Hammer VAR.....maybe we should.

So secretive reports & PMs result in people being banned now? Last I checked we all contributed to the upkeep of the site. I get sometimes he goes too far - one of those I mentioned to him yesterday. A perma-ban when racism, sexism. homophobia and xenophobia have been overlooked is a deeply odd take.
