Worst XI of the decade

Bloody hell, look at some of the names in this thread!

If you lopped the Nuno era off the end of it, Christ alive it was a shit decade.

Hunt was waaaaaaank but he did at least try.

I despised Ojo. Rubbish and a cheat.

There can only be one man as manager...

I legitimately can't get a fag paper between He Who Must Not Be Named and Connor, if we're looking at the worst.

I respect Connor more (what happened plainly wasn't his fault), but that doesn't make him any less dogshite.

Saunders was thousands times worse than Connor.

I'll explain why if you like, but it will take me hours and you'll have to read thousands of words.

Tell me more?

Doc won POTS the season when little Jez was with us and that largely came from the fact he had to do zero defending due to the odd set up of Helan playing left wing but sitting back and Doc at LB but pushing on. As that season was largely depressing, his 1 ounce of effort won him the fans hearts (not DW's though).

Huge gap between Connor and Fuckwitbrains. Connor was a poor manager but he had had the job for a couple of months, as a team we were gone, didn't really want to do it and did out of some odd loyalty to the team and has since carried on with his decent carear as a coach. The other one was a shit manager who thought he was some tactical marvel, the man Pep wishes he could be.

Have this as a starter:

The man is a fucking cretin.

I mean, you're absolutely right, but I don't think Connor was vastly better.

The main difference, of course, is that Saunders was (allegedly) a professional manager who was near criminally-incompetent, whereas Connor had the misfortune of being left high and dry in a position that he never should have been near by the chancers we had running the show at the time.

Also, Connor seems like a really nice bloke, whereas a scumbag is just about the nicest thing I can call Saunders.

The most annoying thing (and I have many to pick from) was that he finally hit on something at Leicester away. Probably by accident. But we were really good in the second half. So unlucky to lose. We look ok.

Stick with that then, eh.

Nope, rip it up and never play that way ever again.

I absolutely hate that man with a passion. Anyone who makes me walk away from my club must have done something very, very wrong.

Gorkss, Olofinjana and Rohan Ricketts would be certs for me. Then you've got Tony Lange, Van Der Laan, Simon Coleman, Kevin Ashley, Sigurdarsson , Gladon, Corica, Jens Dowe

Mate. You know what a decade is, yeah?

This thread is comedy gold.

I’d have Saville in CM somehow, that guy annoyed the shit out of me.

Helan only played 8 games though?

(i know what's coming...)

And me, but he wasn't actually that bad in the end - especially during that relatively purple patch of goals.

Jed Wallace was pretty crap for us too - i note Pompey had him in their team of the decade along with JOH.

That reinforces my dislike of Pompey.

That was enough....I think it was a great effort by the fans to find a POTS that annoyed Dan more than Rankine winning it

The thing is we were actually quite good when Rankine won it!

We were awful when Doc did, so although he didn't deserve it (again, I'll tell you why in great detail if you like) it was like well, whatever.

Rankine won it in a season where Dave Kelly scored 20 goals FFS.

Wait... Nathan Byrne hasn't made this thread yet? Or Joe Mason?
