Even so, when the passage of play during which 'Advantage' is awarded comes to a fruitless end, the ref should then bring it back for a Wolves free kick..

Nuno going nuts as Costa's 1st touch was poor from a terrific ball from Neves.

First I have seen live since Pre season. The movement, control and transitioning off the ball is an utter sublime sight.

Nothing surprising so far Villa kicking Cav to bits but they are shit, we have to beat them.

It's not as bad as the Cardiff game but we are so much better but have to turn our dominance into goals.

Neves and Miranda going closest.

Costa still not on it at the moment I would look at getting Leo in after 20 if it's still even we are suffering from the lack of a central presence although some of the football is a joy to watch.

Half time - no score

We have been the better team without doubt though they clearly have threats, just slight adjustments needed

Both Wing backs & CM's are a few yards further back than is beneficial so that when we attack we only have the front 3 there.

So far Villa have managed to get at least 4 back to confront them - whether they can do that for the whole 90 mins is another issue. Would consider N'Daiye for Saiss as he is more likely to make the forward runs which gives another body in there

Definitely one pen should have been given for kicking Costa in the head and the shove on Doherty would have been given anywhere else on the pitch. How Hutton hasn't had a yellow only Tim Robinson knows.

Costa one should have been a pen - the Doherty one was not - awaited the lightest of touches and collapsed to the ground.
