Wolves Internationals

With the amount of time I've spent moaning about Edwards, Donk and Milijas I just can't put them in there. I'm going to go controversial and ditch Del Stroppio:

Hennessey
Foley Boly Saiss Jonny
Moutinho Andre
Saka Keane RAN
Raul
You canny have Keano, left us in 1999

For 15 months Lemina was better than most names mentioned.
Fair. Give me 12 months and the bitter taste will have gone away, like it has with say, Kightly over time.

I still can't reconcile the character we had in 2023 with the one we had who was literally refusing to play when we were in a fucking relegation battle.

You have to cheat a bit and fudge Kightly as a RWB (who knows, maybe teams would use him that way now, he definitely had the engine and the willingness), but you can kind of get to a decent-ish English-only XI since 2000:

------------------------Murray---------------------

------------Curle------Coady---Lescott--------

Kightly-----------K Henry------Jones---------Naylor

---------Gibbs-White---Ebanks-Blake----Jarvis----------

Ince cough Ince
I dunno man, I think Kaptain Karl (dickhead that he is, so that doesn't play into it with Ince, who is also a dickhead) was better for us.

Ince was shite for his first 4 months here and we had to carry him, as he hadn't been arsed doing a pre-season. Superb second half of that season.

Game but looked past it in the PL in 03/04.

Then two years of being a Paul Ince tribute act, playing golf in Portugal rather than signing contracts on time and blaming Bloody Hell Naylor for everything.

As a footballer in general, obviously. But we didn't get the Man Utd/Inter/England version. Otherwise I'd pick Darren Anderton at RWB, he was very good there in a World Cup. He was not good for Wolves.
