Absolutely. A lot of builders have to work up to their State pension age. Surprised anyone thinks they can just pack it in at 60!

I work in construction and I don't see many over 60 physically grafting on site. They might be foremen or managers, but physically doing the work? Rarely.

More rare as former Premier league footballers.

My plumber is 73, he mostly just does servicing but he sometimes still does installations.
Lots of construction workers have to supplement their state pension because they didnt have works pensions.

I work in construction. Have done since 1971. To be a "builder" doesn't necessarily mean being on the tools.

Yeah thats all true but I know a few guys in their 60s who are/were still on the tools.

We really were a quality side back then - the speed of the counter attacks, the passing of Neves, the link up between Raul and Diogo, the finishing.....

Those really were the days.
