There are plenty working in the construction industry over the age of 60 years.
I work in construction and I don't see many over 60 physically grafting on site. They might be foremen or managers, but physically doing the work? Rarely.

More rare as former Premier league footballers.

Maybe not site work but certainly still doing 'bits' to keep their heads above water.

I work in construction. Have done since 1971. To be a "builder" doesn't necessarily mean being on the tools.

Owner, director, contracts manager, site manager, site agent, site supervisior, H&S, QS...

Miss those long range, pin point passes from Ruben too. Miss all of those who were involved. As you say, our drop off from then to what we have now is ridiculous
 
We really were a quality side back then - the speed of the counter attacks, the passing of Neves, the link up between Raul and Diogo, the finishing.....

Those really were the days.
