Wolves History Thread

197172 season;
Curran, Lutton, Oldfield, Munro, Parkes, Woodfield, Hegan

Wilson, Shaw, Walker, Gould, Richards, McAlle, Hibbitt, Chung

Dougan, Wagstaffe, O'Grady, Bailey, McCalliog, Taylor, Parkin.
Bertie Lutton and Paul Walker would be the 2 that would stump a few people.

10 years ago today:

- An absolute classic of the short-lived but fun McDonald -> Afobe -> goal genre
- Pretty sure this was Jack Price's only ever goal at Molineux. Hits him in the face and goes in
- Us getting done twice by the exact same straight ball down the middle. I don't think much of Kuszczak on either goal while we're at it
- No necked wanker Forestieri with one of the worst cases of cheating I've ever seen in person
- Not on the video, but Price absolutely nailing Forestieri from the restart. Glorious
Wasn't Sako's red rescinded ?

Forestieri should have been suspended for his cheating (I assume he wasn't).

Yes, the red was wiped out more or less immediately (didn't impact on the game as there was about 30 seconds left)

Don't think Forestieri got punished for it

We didn't even play that badly. Simply insane finishing.

When Dowie is doing Zlatan before Zlatan was a thing, what can you do.

Fucking AWFUL header by Rankine on the third though.

1994 was more annoying. Never laid a glove on a very ordinary Chelsea team and I think we missed a golden chance (Kelly?) right at the end.

We could have got unlucky and drawn Man Utd in the semi, but the other two options were Luton and Oldham.
