Wolves History Thread

Yep great in its heyday but like everything to do with the Cub during the mid eighties, became a shithole.

Some proper Wolves legends there. Players generally stayed at clubs much longer then so the memories of them are greater. Or maybe it’s just because they were some of the first players I watched regularly…

I’d happily take a 2025 version of Bradshaw, Palmer, Parkin, Carr, Eves and Hughes but the real gems were Richards and Hibbitt.

Five years ago today.

The last great performance under Nuno and my word, have we fallen a distance from then.

Can’t help but think the difference between the two sides then and now is Dele Alli has fallen off a cliff wheareas our whole club has.

- An absolute classic of the short-lived but fun McDonald -> Afobe -> goal genre
- Pretty sure this was Jack Price's only ever goal at Molineux. Hits him in the face and goes in
- Us getting done twice by the exact same straight ball down the middle. I don't think much of Kuszczak on either goal while we're at it
- No necked wanker Forestieri with one of the worst cases of cheating I've ever seen in person
- Not on the video, but Price absolutely nailing Forestieri from the restart. Glorious

I’ve got that picture in a frame on the wall behind my desk at work. Even though I’ve read through the names on several occasions I still couldn’t name all of them.

@pavlosmacwolf should be able to as he went drinking with some of them.
