Wolves / Covid-19

There are over 10,000 people on the waiting list for season tickets, problem is a large percentage of those will have died, changed circumstances, or just not be able to afford what they are likely to charge since they were added.
More than that I think - I signed our youngest up when he was born (I know) and he's number 10145.

I’m sure we would. But the demographics of the STH group will start to shift. People will get priced out.

It's not a wealthy city and there is now no novelty.

I don't actually think prices will go up in that manner, I think they've just been crass (as they can be sometimes) and priced it as per normal Cat A match prices.

I hope so, I really hope they bring back U12 pricing too.

For the time being our season ticket allocations will sell out but it’s not a forever thing.
I was a season ticket holder from 02/03-10/11 but then family came first and I was priced out.
Even now I can only probably attend 6 games Max a season.
I’d love to go to every home game but can’t, once my kids leave home I probably will. I’ll be 46+ then and that’s a familiar pattern amongst most of a lot of fans nationwide.

I've worked right through the Covid situation so have saved a fair bit of money with not going to games, the pub, the pictures or out in general. I don't pay for my train ticket so I will almost certainly be going to this game. However, it doesn't deflect from the fact that Fosun have dropped a bit of a major PR fuck-up with the ticket pricing

Problem is all areas of the ground need opening for only 4,500 fans so means you’ll still need stewards on each entry.
There’s two stewards per concourse entry at the moment at each game and that’s with no one in the ground. Cushy job if you can get it.

They do pretty intense searches though...

Will take it up as I'm old so can get a ticket for £26 in the Stan Cullis or Jack Hayward - probably wouldn't if I had had to pay the full price.

Wolves will make like £10m a season in a non Europe season. To put ST’s up again after already putting them up 25% last time would be a disgrace.

Putting tickets up 10% for an extra £1m (like 0.5% of turnover) would be stupid and pointless.

I will go regardless, probably becuase I’m an idiot and they probably think we are all like that. Still doesn’t mean I can’t be pissed off and moan about it.

There are plenty of people already getting pissed of with club, some valid reasons, some not so. Not sure they really need to be giving people more reason to be pissed off for limited gain. They don’t even know people will come back as before for the various reasons stated. I’m hearing and seeing it in a lot of fields. People who used to do stuff religiously just aren’t doing it any more after lockdown. Their priorities/circumstances have changed, can’t afford it or just have found something better to do with their time.

Wolves have already had an underwhelming season regardless of any mitigating reasons. You only have to look at history, beyond the core 20k the others come and go when the novelty wears off, performances drop etc.

We don’t have this queue of tourists waiting to take seats. City have been successful for a while now, currently one of the best teams ever and yet still they struggle to shift tickets. I also think their tickets are reasonable priced?

Wolves/Fosun need to be careful what they do moving forward.

Bought my tickets - row D in the middle of the NB upper. I'm now £70 lighter :(

Ticket bought, near my ST seat in the South Bank and I had just under £7 of "ticket cash" so £33 for the ticket.

NU3 for me too and first time for the kids in there - my only visit was when we lost to some shitty team on pens in the carabao cup, so hopefully better than that..

I can't believe we would do any such thing.

Problem is they'll sell out really quickly and the club will think they got it right. They didn't.

Yeah, they are going already (btw what weirdos are buying all the seats in the SB? You have a free choice and your first thought is yeah I'd love a cramped seat please):

North Bank is the only choice, surely.

Steve Bull - takes forever to get in when it's normal. That's going to be fun with all the distancing and checks. Then the aforementioned seat issues

South Bank - will probably catch Covid off some knacker

I've sadly decided against heading down for this (hope Darlo makes it whilst being unsupervised). It was a 100 quid for the train and I just couldn't square that with value for money for an end of season, nothing to play for, game!
