I'm so used to being annoyed by utter arsehats like Lawrenson, Tyldelsey, Hoddle, McManaman, Birtles etc that a bit of manufactured crowd noise doesn't particularly bother me.

In fact, I'd rather have that than have to endure the 'wisdom' of the above with no option to shut them up (no, I'm not muting the whole thing - that's just odd).

I have watched games where McManaman is commentating on mute. He just dribbles on about nothing, terrible commentator. That fletch BT have isn't much better he said in the first half Saturday that Neves was having a quiet game - because he's been calling him Moutinho for the whole game.

Yeah it happened at least 3 times, then as said he summarised at HT that he had been quiet, yet didn't say that Moutinho had been EVERYWHERE!

I think he did the Bournemouth away game didn't he? He was ok that day, but i totally agree, i brace myself for absurdity when he is on co comms.
