Bit right footed... :run:

I think that suits us. When Byrne came on for Ojo on Saturday and started cutting inside, Afobe looked much better and we actually put some really nice moves together down the left hand side. I think with Byrne on one side and Graham on the other, Benik wont look as isolated as he has been recently. Edwards just doesn't get close enough to his strike partner when he plays No.10 so you need your wingers to play 5-10 yards further inside IMO.

When we bought him I found some video footage which was mostly of him when he was a kid and he used his left quite a lot, seemed two-footed......maybe in the intervening years he's had it knocked out of him

Good news this morning. Niall Ennis has signed a professional contract with us. I really wasn't expecting that to happen.

Done well with a load of Prem clubs hovering around. I guess he is on a slightly higher wage that most on their first Pro deal. Lets hope he lives up to the early promise #£101mfootballer

Austin Samuels is the next youngster to look out for, currently 14 and playing for England U16s and Wolves U16s and U18s.

Samuels has also agreed a pro contract for when he turns 17 I believe.

Good work with Ennis, and we've shown a lot of faith ourselves in giving him a 3-year deal.

Use the likes of him and Bright rather than signing shite like Holt please, Wolves.

Will we ever see a Robbie Keane again, are managers brave enough. If Ennis is good enough at 17 lets play him..

Ken wouldn't have put Iorfa in given a free choice last season despite anyone with eyes knowing he is a billion times better than Doherty (no exaggeration for effect this time). I just don't get us signing Holt when we have Wilson, Bright and Ennis at the club. Leaving aside that the fatman is fucking rubbish anyway, if we're going down the youth route then stick to it.

I go regardless anyway but if we're looking at improving gates by enticing lapsed fans back, I'm pretty sure they'd be more interested in watching Niall Ennis than Grant Holt.

I think it's quite possible that the reason we have loaned in two strikers (ALF and Holt) is because we know the potential of these young strikers, particularly Enobakhare and Ennis at the moment. if KJ doesn't think they are ready yet (I think he has handled Enobakhare well personally though others clearly don't) then we need back up, without spending millions for a stop gap. Obviously, Holt is an abysmal signing and we should have done a lot better than him.

It can sometimes be dangerous to throw youngsters in. Next time Bright is needed, he will have been a lot stronger and be better prepared having made league sub appearances and having started in the cup too.

The problem with Bright on the bench was he wasn't getting any football at all. Being kept out of the U21's so as not to get injured/games at the same time as the first team, but very rarely getting off the bench for the first team. without playing games he isn't going to develop, so I can see why we brought another forward in...still doesn't excuse it being Holt though

We have to be consistent with youth development making sure the likes of Jordan Graham play games.

You can watch Ennis playing for England u17s on BT Sport (or a 'river') - against Germany.

And he has just scored a backheel - cheeky!

"The 17-year-old striker – who scored three minutes into his senior debut earlier this season – was initially given time off to deal with a personal matter."
"Enobkahare is also rumoured to have turned up late for training and been fined, leading to him going AWOL, but the true picture of the Nigerian's absence isn't yet known."

So we'll make bollox up
