Wolves Academy Thread

I think it's fine. Imagine it if one of our players got done like that, would you object to Neves (with the audience he has) sharing it?

Obviously the personal stuff and going after his family is over the line but it's a cunt's trick of a "challenge", you're fair game to a point if you want to pull that kind of shit.

I don't think you can separate the two though. Voices family are already having personal details shared online, this only stokes the fire. I'd be disappointed if Neves did something which added to that fire.

It’s notoriously difficult to prove intent unless there is a convenient autobiography a La Keane, but on the balance of probabilities he has meant to do that. If so, he should be looking for a new club.

James Maddison isn't responsible for what idiots type.

The young Leicester boy is his colleague, FFS. Probably friend. Of course he'll want to point it out.

There wouldn’t be a fire if our lad hadn’t assaulted someone.

The shit with his fam is over the line as has been said, but this shit needs to be spotlighted. IMV the more young players that see the tackle and the public response to it, the better. It has to be a lesson for others.

It's context though isn't it? It's already out there, as all we know. It's now going to get whipped up again, we've already seen personal address details being shared. It only takes one monumental idiot to do something really stupid and we're having a very different conversation. Public figures need to be aware of the influence they can have.

Equally, Madison’s tweet doesn’t mention Voice by name, in fact it barely mentions him.

He’s hardly asked Leicester supporters to march on Wolverhampton.

From experience, the ones like that never make it. The quietest lad in my academy side had the best career by a long way. Wasn't anywhere near the best player but worked hard and did the right things. Sam Winnall.
Really nice guy, knew some of my cousins, I remember him getting me a couple of tickets for a game (might have been Ipswich at home under Solbaklen though, the bastard!).

I remember talking to him once at Goals around the time he was probably making the odd appearance in a League Cup squad or something and he said similar himself. Never considered himself the most talented player in his club at any age group but he gave it his absolute all, listened to his coaches and stayed committed to his football above all else.

Sums him up to a tee. Although maybe downplaying his godlike ability to be wherever the ball dropped in the box.

Maddison is punching down and adding to what is already a pretty considerable pile on, made worse by the in all likelihood made up comment by the Leicester fan masquerading as a scout that he had it coming. The 'tackle' speaks for itself, it doesn't validate the online and possibly offline bullying of a 16 year child which Maddison will now significantly amplify. He knows what he's doing there.

Used to play with Sam Winnall. Wasn’t the most talented of players I played with but yeah as a goal scorer he was ridiculous and that clearly can be more important than pace/power/technique.

Brewood or Tettenhall? Guessing we've crossed paths a few times.

I think we have to note the reticence to make comment in the Maddison tweet. He was weighing up the fact it would be fuel with the fact that someone he knows has been badly injured by a very poor challenge.

I stick with my original thought now. He has said what he feels needs to be said, but it now needs to be dealt with by the appropriate authorities and ourselves.

2-0 up in PL cup. Griffiths and Hesketh with the goals

Wolves 21's smashing Sunderland at the moment.

Goals from Griffiths and Hesketh.

The pace and movement is different class to what was before Lopetegui arrived.
