Completely agree. Shots, chances, making the keeper make a save etc. get the crowd going. Leeds was probably the best we’ve been all season for that and we had a comfortable two goal lead as a result. But by and large it’s been pretty dull.

Even on Friday, I expected Molineux to be absolutely seething after the red card. Some of our best atmospheres have come on the back of atrocious refereeing (City 3-2 as an example) but it was flat and nervy.

Most me included seemed to expect the yellow. Secondly, we collapsed so spectacularly from that moment with nothing done to affect it, just seemed inevitable hence the resignation and flat atmosphere

Yeah to be fair I did pass a few walking back to the station who were slagging off Raúl so perhaps wasn't so obviously a bad decision from other angles.

We couldn't really tell from where we were but there was a lot of anger when Friend sent Raul off.

I thought there was a good atmosphere before HT and the place was in good spirits. Trincao winning tackles drew cheers and some of the play was encouraging some loud singing.

The red card seemed to confuse everybody and I don't think anybody recovered once they scored.

Again, the contact with Saiss's head highlighted how backward Association Football attitudes are with these things. Stop this bullshit and get the player off for a thorough Head Impact Assessment (10 minutes).

While the player is being assessed a substitution is made. If the HIA is ok, the assessed player returns, if not then continue with the substitute player.

Have the club complained? Have we requested Friend doesn't take charge of any more of our games? Do we really think the other referee's are any better?

Nothing happens apart from a bit of noise for a few days and then it gets forgotten about.

Agreed and it winds me up. We need to start kicking up more of a fuss when these ridiculous decisions happen. It's no good Bruno coming out and not wanting to talk about it, or like you say it just gets forgotten within 48 hours.

We need to be making a public stink about it. Nuno did it with Mason, Lampard recently demanded an apology and got one. If we don't speak up then it just keeps happening.

We may have complained to the FA and it won't have gone unnoticed how bad the officials were in general on Friday and have been this season under Riley.

If more noise is made then eventually something will change.

Problem is they are so shit, even if they went to VAR for second yellows they wouldn’t change it and even if you could appeal afterwards they wouldn’t change it.

The desire in football to protect the referee rather than just get the right decision is not only baffling but incredibly frustrating.

We have a system where you can only correct a minority of decisions with maximum interference and then rather than actually getting the right decision they compound the error and piss everyone off. It should I be really easy to improve the game with VAR but they are incapable of using it correctly.

Was just about to post the video. Very rare they say the refs wrong.

The can’t appeal thing is shit, but even if we could appeal, the damage was done. We were down to 10 men. Lost the game (not because of that but it’s a catalyst for what happened next) so even overturning it doesn’t help us that much

I'm convinced it's an ego issue.

The referees do not want to appear divided or weak and so their egos have to be protected.

To the detriment of everybody else.

The PGMOL are not fit to be arbiters of the game.
