Wolves 2 - 3 Leeds United

6 home games without a win now and 5 defeats in the last 11. that sort of return, or lack of, can't continue or we will be at risk.

it's the stats that will prompt a decision, never mind the manner of the performances and the decisions behind them.

There's a hell of a lot of patience being shown towards KJ from the crowd currently maybe most appreciate that his situation isn't the best. But the reality is he should be getting more out of this squad than he is doing. The classic example come down the road at blues.

Our fans are proper weird at times. Mick McCarthy, most successful manager here in 30 years? Dog's abuse at games towards the end. Dean Saunders, worst manager in British football in the last 30 years? Virtually nothing aimed at him at games.

I suppose I should praise the fans for not creating a nasty atmosphere, which wouldn't help a team containing several young players. However it's a perverse state of affairs. We're performing absolutely abysmally at home, it really is a disgraceful state of affairs. Today - the players sold the manager down the river a bit, specifically the defenders and goalkeeper, because he can't really legislate for that. However it isn't an accident that we have such a terrible home record. It's the manager's fault. There is no way this is a bottom eight squad in this division, absolutely no chance.

I keep thinking it won't get worse but it does. I don't think we'd get relegated under Ken but it scares me how bad we look.

We really weren't as good in the first half as people made out. It was a ridiculously low standard of football, summed up by the slow tempo of the game, shocking stuff. We had the possession and in better areas than the week before but a cause of this was partly because we had a striker who forced them to play deeper.

The defending was genuine pub football stuff. The gap between EEL and Batth was incredible at times. That's not experience, that's just poor defensive understanding. Batth as the leader of the team and especially the back four should be very disappointed with himself. I don't buy that he is shit, he isn't, and he isn't being helped by the way we are setting up and approaching games.

We had this argument at the start of the season, we've had this argument throughout the season and we will continue to have this argument but Henry and Edwards as regular starters will not ever get us promoted. This is not because I, or anyone else has an agenda but because they are not capable of sustaining form over a consistent period of time at this level. They never have and they never will. They both have their values, and they were used accordingly last season so for Jackett to play them and rely on them as key players when the aim is to get promoted is simply absurd.

We have paid good money for Wallace and Byrne, but Jackett doesn't appear to rate either? Byrne has shown glimpses of what he is capable of and has good technical ability, while I am have faith in Wallace given the chance. He has the ability to score goals from midfield and was fantastic for Pompey. Give them a run of fucking games for fucks sake.

It is weird how MM was subjected to dogs abuse by some sections of the crowd, only reason I can think was his style of play at times and fear of fans losing there PL status which leads them to being less patient.
I think the feeling of complete apathy around the club plus the situation of ownership gives KJ a bit more leaway at times.

That was really a disappointing defeat and we should of put Leeds to the sword early on, but we just can't kill teams off. Bryne was so much more dynamic than anything Henry did, how he is still starting ahead of Bryne at the moment is amazing. Again Jackett was unable to see when a game needed a change early on and only reacted to the problem when Leeds had already taken the lead. His poor management is just getting frustrating and that is not even considering his insistence on one playing system and pretty much same personnel regardless of form, I wonder if teams have to bother doing any prep to play us, probably just watch the Hull DVD.

I don't even see there will be any improvement with a Hause/Batth combo at the back, what a miss a stearman or defender of Williamsons calibre experience is at the back. As for EEL I really don't see him being good enough to cement a first team place in the long run, I see his future away from Wolves (where he'll probably become the best centre back ever following his departure). I just feel the season has melted away, can't see us going down but just a lot more of the same, lots of draws incoming. As for Kenny he still won't be going anywhere for now but I can't see that this home form is impressing anyone behind the scenes.

Mick could be quite critical of the crowd, which I think is why he would get it in the neck from them. He was harshly treated for someone who did a lot of good.

I'd love to sit down with Ken and run through the entire 147 minutes Dave Edwards played against Forest and Leeds (we could pick a load of other games, but let's just settle for the last two). Then ask him what specifically he did in those minutes that Jed Wallace could not possibly do, other than running around to absolutely no effect. As an attacking force he was completely invisible. No shots, no linking of play, nothing created, LITERALLY nothing. He is our number 10, the position filled by Mesut Özil and David Silva at the highest level in this country.

Always a bad idea to go to war with your home fans, I think KJ strives to keep the fans on his side with his comments and interviews.

The problem with Mick McCarthy was he should not have still been in post for his final season, it was clear he had no idea how to utilise any kind of foreign player into the squad effectively and insisted on being the number one fan of the Karl Henry fan club.

I'm fucking fuming at how shit we really are. How has Byrne not been getting any game time? What the fuck have we signed Jed Wallace for? I have no idea what Jackett said to them at half time but it worked a fucking treat for Leeds as we were a shambles who looked to have no confidence and no ideas.

I have to agree with above sentiments how can Wallace not be given a chance ahead of Edwards, just once. I like Edwards he would be a good impact sub he can't do 90 mins just because of how he plays, he wins the odd ball back, but as a number 10 scores at most 5-7 goals a season, and passes like the ball has got stuck in some kind of invisible treacle wall. Just give Jed a chance!

The back four was the biggest concern tonight and what's more concerning is they have barely any competition for places and it's pretty much picking itself.
I like DB but he isn't a leader and isn't good enough to guide less experienced players along side him. He's s better player concentrating on his own game.

Well there's an hour and a half I won't get back!
I recorded the game for when I finished work and have just finished having avoided TWF and texts. Thoughts?
Price was magnificent in the first half playing as far forward as I've seen him play.
Graham had another good game but needs to work on his delivery.
The back four is missing Williamson.
Afobe needs help up front.
Byrne is much more threatening than Henry
I didn't realise Edwards was playing for large parts of the game, please don't play again!
Jackett out thought by bloody Evans, please walk away.....

He says the same thing every week yet there is no change..

I can't even be arsed to listen to his post match drivel any more.

If it carries on like this they can suck my balls if they think I'm renewing my season ticket.
