Wolves 2-2 Hull - Verdict Thread.

2 days later and I'm still annoyed at the result.

Hoping for a win on friday.

Having seen Cardiff play a few times recently they are most certainly due a defeat. I see no reason at all why we shouldn't be the ones to make that happen. We are the best side in the division.

Me too. If we can keep our discipline and concentration, then we are the better team.

I agree, but for poor finishing Sheffield Utd could have had 4 or 5 against them last monday.
They tended not to like Sheffield's quick passing and paticularly the pace they played, infact it was a Sheffield performance that they were turning out earlier in the season.
Hopefully we can get back to what we do best with our fast counter attacks and decisive passing.

As for the Alf v DE debate! really? Alf does his role as the manager asks has the occaisional 5 min madness DE had less than 5 mins sanity (in football logic terms)

We should at least get a point at Cardif some people seem to want the promotion without having to win the points

Its all about the players next to each other. Siass and Alfred dont work, however sit either of them next to Neves there game because hundred times better.

We'll return to the team that started against Boro, unless Jota starts over Afobe.

I have a feeling for a 1-1 draw. We need to beware of allowing Zohore to isolate Coady too often and Ruddy needs to improve his recent efforts at claiming high balls. That said, we should cause all sorts of problems for them if they play like the did against Sheffield United.

Neves next to MGW is a combo I wouldn't mind seeing if Saiss is still knackered.

I'm afraid I've not been a massive fan of Alf. I know we've been spoilt this season when it comes to the quality of our passing, but he does give the ball away too much in dangerous positions.

Morgan is showing what a class act he can be in the future, you can just see with his touch and movement with the ball he's going to be special.

I don't like N'Diaye in a midfield two - as others have said, he likes to break forward a lot, leaving us with essentially only Neves or Saiss in the center. I can see the logic in games where we're expecting to be breaking down opposition teams set up primarily to defend (and the Hull game was one of those, really), but in games where the two teams are more evenly matched, it's counterproductive, IMO.

He'd have been a perfect number 10 for Jackett's 4-2-3-1, mind.
