That Tolu assist hasn't got enough credit.

He bossed VVD, held it up and laid in a brilliant pass.

He isn't going to score tonnes of goals, but he's a good centre forward.
We are definitely better with him in the team than without. Hopefully with how Edwards has managed him over the last week or so he can start on Friday.

Slot is a tit isn't he

"They scored with their first shot on goal"
Try getting your lads to score from a yard out then. Not our fault you turned into a 2025 Wolves attacking tribute act is it.

"The winner wasn't even a chance"
Oh, ok let's tell the PL then and call it a draw.

I enjoyed that a lot. Quite a few things happened tonight that we've really not seen much of this season:

The players gave it everything
We defended really well (Bellegarde brain fart aside)
A daft error didn't ultimately cost us
Subs made at the right time changed the game
Seeing gold shirts sprinting forwards with several attacking options (took a while tonight, mind you!)
Players looking comfortable in possession
Players not panicking (Bellegarde brain fart aside)

Yes, it's far too late but we've been so miserable to watch for 95% of this wretched season - isn't it nice to have far more positives than negatives to talk about after a game?

Krejci definitely MOTM, but thought Joao was excellent, as was Santi and Tolu was great when he came on.

Well done, Wolves - it's lovely to have a bit of pride in the team again.
Whatever Edwards said to Jackson has made so much difference.
But his end product needs sorting out.
Did you see that early run where he bombed past the full back (O'Niell?) and put it about 15 rows back in the stand?
Brilliant game to watch.

That was so nearly 2-2!
They slowed it right down on tv, where the ball had come down, almost on the line, under the bar, into a monster crowd and it was hitting O'Niell's chest to go over the line and a white boot appeared....
It belonged to a lunging Gravenbach I think who was trying to poke it in, but just managed to hook it off O'Niell's chest and it got cleared.
Fantastic stuff!
If he'd have left it or missed it, O'Niell's chest would have had it in!!

Rodrigo Gomes is 28 and O’Niell was playing for Liverpool. Must have all been a strange dream.

Congratulations on being 12 hours late and still contriving to fuck up both players.

There wasn't even an O'Neil in either squad FFS.

Whatever Edwards said to Jackson has made so much difference.
I think he had words with him at half time in the Villa game and encouraged him to get forward and try things. I like that he said he told him to have a go and try things, if it doesn't work then try again and again and he will be on the touchline applauding. I think Rob is excellent on this side of things for inspiring and motivating his players

Congratulations on being 12 hours late...
That's a little harsh!
I was taking my daughter to play water polo and didn't get to see the game until late. In fact it was gone midnight when it all ended.
You think I'm then gonna come on here and get player's names wrong at that time.?
So I'm catching up now.
Didn't realise there was a time limit on responses.

Gravenbach had been substituted for Jones at halftime.

Another brilliant night at Molineux, so good to feel some happiness there again, fuck knows we deserve it. If anyone had said we would pick up 7 points from Arsenal, Villa and Liverpool they'd have been considered nuts.
Amen. What a night. Although feeling it today. But it was great to come out of the ground smiling again.

Gerrard looks absolutely FUMING stood next to RE.

YOU LOVE TO SEE IT.
Bellegarde was just imitating Gerrard giving the ball away to Demba Ba innit

Can't say that I'm very impressed with Angel so far. Hope it's just him getting up to speed but there's only 8 games left so maybe it'll be for someone elses' benefit

I've been impressed with his quality and calmness on the ball plus his range of passing. His problem will always be physicality.
