I've been impressed with his quality and calmness on the ball plus his range of passing. His problem will always be physicality.
Yeah definitely an excellent footballer.

He just keeps getting mashed up in challenges, because he has the physical presence of Tyrion Lannister.

In January I didn't understand why he was coming to us and thought we had no chance of signing him in the Summer. Now, I do and I'm not sure I would anyway. Against Arsenal he looked like he wanted no part of it which has put me off.

He was better further forwards, but if we are playing that formation in the Championship I'd want more goal threat from the two 8½s

He was good yesterday.
Yeah I thought he, Andre and Joao had a bit of a stranglehold on the midfield first 20-25 minutes. I'd like to see more of him for the rwst of the season, see what he's got. Not sure he'll sign anyway but you never know. It'll depend who else we get in during the Summer.

Why was he so hyped? Nothing about his career jumps off the page.

This is not me shading him, I just don't know where "why would he come here" came from.

Is that NcNulty not copping a body?

That's a little harsh!
I was taking my daughter to play water polo and didn't get to see the game until late. In fact it was gone midnight when it all ended.
You think I'm then gonna come on here and get player's names wrong at that time.?
So I'm catching up now.
Didn't realise there was a time limit on responses.

Inhumane sport. Poor horses.

With Tolu you at the very least will get someone that gives the opposition defenders something to think about, he keeps them busy.

Playing Armstrong alone up top doesn't give you anything. Not fair on Armstrong and it must be pretty miserable for him.
To be fair Armstrong makes some good moves but we haven’t got players to pick him out. Mane has the ability but doesn’t seem to like releasing the ball very often

Against Villa and their high line he would have been in on numerous occasions if our midfield was still Moutinho and Neves
There were two moments in particular last night where I felt Angel could have released AA who made good runs, but he turned back. It's almost like they are instructed not to.

I don't know if he's the answer, even for next season, but fuck me, to have a manager who can look at our support with this much joy and do so with complete earnesty...

It may not change the level of success he has, but this feels like it scarcely exists at the highest level. You can't buy that emotion, man.

Forest Green and Boro fans would suggest it's not our support he's please for.

His family are in a box down towards the South Bank. He may have to move them closer to the halfway line if he wants to avoid a touchline ban in the future 😂
