Wolves 2-0 Vile 🤣🤣 Verdict Thread

I’ve paid for a ST so will continue to attend even in the rain. I’m no super fan, I moaned constantly at our toothless first half display and nothing can fully compensate for what we’ve had to endure this season but money can’t buy the feeling I had walking out of the ground yesterday. Smiling faces everywhere, people singing, it won’t make up for the repeated shambles I’ve witnessed but it was bloody wonderful.
We said it made a nice change to come out of the god forsaken hole happy (I missed the Arsenal game)!

Arsenal was great as we knew we’d damaged the chances of a team full of horrible players. Villa, Buendia aside, aren’t that bad, so last night was about Wolves. The late second goal meant celebrations carried on as fans left the ground so for a short while you forgot what has preceded it this season.

As for even spending a second thinking about staying up, let it go!
Agreed. I can’t believe the amount of comments I’ve read across various SM alluding to us still having a chance. ā€œIf we can just win Xā€, or ā€œif Forest lose this and we do thisā€¦ā€ - we are down. It’s been an abysmal season where we have lurched from one disaster to another.

Last night was great though.

Just think, if we hadn’t thrown all those points away against the likes of Burnley, Palace, Spurs etc - we might have been within touching distance. We’re not though.

It's been 304 days since I last saw Wolves win a league game! So it's fair to say I enjoyed last night!

Whilst the first half was poor I thought we played quite well in the second half. Villa seemed stuck at one pace and whilst we had a bit of luck with saves/blocks, villa never really looked like winning.

Shout out to Jackson for his stinking first 15, a rubbish 30 minutes and then a reasonable second half (suppose I should be gracious and give him a great half time). He actually beat his man a few times in the second half, which felt absolutely wild.

Enjoyed the kids at halftime, clearly meant a lot to them to play in front of fans, nice to see both Wolves and Villa fans giving the kids a chant. And even better than we won that game as well!

Same. Vast swathes of empty seats between us and you last night though

Saw that earlier and I really don't know. Score a goal and they're more interested in filming themselves and giving a running commentary. Would absolutely do my head in to be sat next to one of these whoppers

The 7/10 rating for a pint of carling was the real high point I felt. Such insight. Just needed a better glass.

Didn't know what you meant - this wasn't the one I saw, I saw one of a Wolves 'vlogger' in the North Bank

I wouldn't go that far. We've been down for months for reasons that extend beyond Edwards and most of the players left aren't good enough as opposed to being wankers. He's got to try and develop a positive culture for next season for the few that still will be here, enjoying the fleeting moments of success is a way of doing that - we've seen a number of times recently how a shit end to the season impacts on the next.

The fans celebrations were also ott if you coldly contextualise our position, but they deserved it.

Putting it out on social media is dubious though I grant you.

Great win, have to admit I missed the start (20 min) as I forgot to set an alarm. The win will need to be tempered a bit, but I get why RE went full crazy over the win. It's been few and FAR between. At least the team remembers how to beat a PL side. I just hope this isn't the last win of the season. Let's focus on Burnley in 19th and see if we can catch them
