Wolves 1 Cardiff 3 -The verdict

I respectfully disagree with your Edwards assessment.

And I respect your respectfulness as always sir! Consensus would make things very dull indeed.

Can we agree that Doherty was an abomination and to blame almost entirely for the second and third goals?

Martinez

Iorfa Batth Williamson Hause

Byrne Edwards Coady Graham

ALF Zyro

For the next game?

Sort of need to sign Williamson for that. If we did I would keep EEL in bin off Danny Batth. He was also appalling today.

If he was from anywhere other than round here he would get slaughtered.

Would be nice, but if I were Byrne I would be asking for a move elsewhere. Kenny clearly doesn't like him.

Thought we played well, just one of those days, fuck up by Ikeme and two wonder goals that they'll never score the like again.
Feel a bit sorry for Danny Batth, it's only twelve months since 'he was from Brierly Hill' and wasn't Roger Johnson, now he's getting dogs abuse but that's football I suppose.

Hause not fit to play yet. I'd give Deslandes a go but KJ rates Doherty and clearly doesn't trust Golbourne either.

We have a serious issue at the back as Iorfa is the only available one I consider good enough and he hasn't even played that well himself.

It's interesting though - in those three boring Wolves games we've won long shots is what we seemed to be okay restricting the opposition to when we were happy to have 11 in the box. Today shows what can go wrong with that.

Batth for the second, definitely the third.
Ikeme has to do better
Just saw the replays

Did coming from Brierley Hill protect him though Trev? Today he was shocking and much as some of EEL's defending was last ditch because he can't read the game he was the better of the two

Jest seen the goals. Thought Ikeme should've done better for the first and third goals. The defending for all three was appalling, Batth & Doherty for the 2nd & 3rd were just embarrassing.

Of course not, it's just a shame that when a player needs more support than usual he doesn't get it but as I said, that's football.

His job is defending. Second goal - totally out of position. Third goal - complete backtracking clusterfuck.
