Wolves 1-1 Sunderland 02/05 Verdict thread

Quite typical Wolves though as didn’t he only play six games for Southampton as he struggled with homesickness that time too?

Think he was just shiiiiite for Southampton (was very young then)

Kevin Pieterswan.

It's only the Belgian league but there's a desire to get on the end of things in this video that I haven't seen at all at Wolves.

Such a shit compilation. Not even “big man” goals in the main. Most of them unmarked tap ins in the 6 yard box. Spiers says his shot conversion in Belgium was 1 in 6, so basically he can’t shoot unless it’s a tap in? I think there was one well struck finish in there and a couple of headers he actually had to do something beyond nod it in to empty net.

Also he’s not going to get 6 shots in this league and if he does it’s against better keepers. Surely this is simple for a scouting department? Someone looks shit when you watch them and statistically average in a shit league might not do very well in the PL?

I'm pretty sure I saw Jelle's Molineux debut but can remember fuck all about it (I'm the anti DW)

Was it the stoke game we won with the DJ free kick?

I thought we had something really special with Fletcher & Ebanks-Blake up front after that game but they never really got a proper partnership going after that.

Yeah, our midfield was a little too weak to play with just 2, so we never really saw enough of those 2 up front together.

Sadly so (although SEB had a really good goals to minutes ratio that season)

Doyler could never form a partnership with anyone
