Wolves v Sunderland 02/05 - Build up and match thread

Fuckin hell... this is slow torture... as Lycan said earlier there are so many empty seats... well played Fosun...

In fairness, the result is the one thing he can’t control. The result and the performance. Two things he can’t control are performance levels, the result and motivation. The three things he can’t control are results, performance levels, motivation and a fanatical commitment to five at the back…
Amongst the things he can't control....

Rob Edwards is expected to manage us to into a promotion season this time next year. I wouldnt trust him to run a bath let alone our promotion push

I think this is the worst Wolves team I can remember. Not just in terms of quality, there may well have been poorer teams when we plummeted down the leagues in the '80s, but in terms of connection to the fans, of players who you actually have some affection for, in terms of attitude, in terms of return on investment, this is the worst Wolves team I think in my lifetime of supporting the club.
Easily.

Said it before, 2012/13 is the worst result (how do you get relegated from the bloody Championship, with our resources as well) and Saunders will forever be the worst manager (breathe easy, Rob), but I can easily pinpoint two first choice players in SEB and Sako who I still dearly loved (and were producing) and loads of others (Foley, Ward, Doyle etc) who were either done or needed a move, but I can't hate you, you were superb for us in the past and you're not being a dick now.

I don't like a single one of these players and actively dislike quite a lot of them.

Need to get Hwang on as he is now below Santi for league goals this season. The motivation will surely spur him on to look vaguely like a footballer.

In fact Santi is now our joint top scorer in the league. Level on a mighty 3 with Tolu and Rodrigo Gomes.

Mosquera has obviously been hitting the weights, that throw would genuinely count as being long.

Wish this clown on Comms would stop saying we haven't come from behind since beating Ipswich in The Championship last year.
