He wasn’t good defensively (but then, he’s not a defender), but he had better moments of stepping forward, and passed forward quite well at times too. I thought it was his best game for a while tbh.I might be an outlier but I thought Donck was not that good. Did some good things but equally had more than 1 instance where he sent us backwards instead of passing progressively, lost his man at least once for their set piece chances, and almost allowed Costa (of all people) in to score.
He's also got to - GOT TO - take a yellow and pull his man back to stop the counter Bamford nearly scored from. It's really, really basic stuff and it was a few cm away from costing us.
Well she did play for Leeds, then work for Leeds and go out with a Leeds manager so probably not a surprise.Just to add the commentary from Darke and Lucy Ward was horrible and bias to new levels that it was cringeworthy
Well it's not though? It's shows that they had several really good chances to score, which they did - and that we didn't actually create too much in terms of clear cut shooting opportunities, barring Nelson's 2 and some pot shotsAlmost like it's a completely irrelevant stat
The only thing that really annoyed me was Lucy Ward was talking about the U23 players and saying the difference between Leeds and Wolves is Leeds include their U23's in 1st team training so they know how they play etc etc. I mean, thats exactly what we do so if you don't know what we do, don't fooking commentJust to add the commentary from Darke and Lucy Ward was horrible and bias to new levels that it was cringeworthy
You can trace his decline to that dick pic. Destroyed his confidenceHe is a coward, and has no character, that’s why he’s never got back to his first seasons form.
bloody glad he missed too!

Lucy Ward just never stopped talking. It was incessant, she said more than the actual commentator. She should learn that often less is more.Just to add the commentary from Darke and Lucy Ward was horrible and bias to new levels that it was cringeworthy
I thought she'd done more research on wolves than almost every other co-commentator tbh. She referenced Nuno's relationship with the psychologist (even a lot on here thought he was a coach or a tactics guru ffs), Nuno not having seen his family, a few nuggets from pedro's recent interview. Yeah, she's clearly a Leeds lass, but she'd clearly done her homework on the general tidbits and our tactical challenges.Well she did play for Leeds, then work for Leeds and go out with a Leeds manager so probably not a surprise.
Not really, people treat it like it's some sort of moral victory. We deserved to win, look at the XG. Without wishing to sound all Mike Bassett it's only really relevant if you scoreWell it's not though? Not condoning it, but as Keown, Carragher, Smith, Jenas, Hoddle and McManaman never manage it I'm not surprised she didn't.Even still you’re employed to give a fair honest reflection and have good knowledge of both sides you’re covering not just be a cheer leader
It wasn’t exactly the Richie Benaud approach was it.Lucy Ward just never stopped talking. It was incessant, she said more than the actual commentator. She should learn that often less is more.
Poppadoms or biscuits I thinkI hope our medical team can work out what Marcal's legs are made from!
I thought she was pretty good, agreed it was more of a radio commentary, but having not heard her before I liked herLucy Ward just never stopped talking. It was incessant, she said more than the actual commentator. She should learn that often less is more.

Rather that that Don Goodman and whoever was commentating suggesting that Traore was having his arm greased up to keep him warm, despite every greasing being televised for the previous few weeks ffs
