Wolves 0-2 Crystal Palace verdict thread

I obviously care but I'm massively disconnected right now. I don't like any more than 4-5 of the players (I actively dislike way more than that), the manager is someone I would never have considered hiring two years ago, the chairman is a cunt, we're clearly already done and the prices are ridiculous. Absolutely zero intention of attending a game any time soon.

How have you lost the likes of me FFS.

That's shocking tbh. It should be fucking teeming with anger at that box
I’m dumbfounded by it at this point. I didn’t think anyone could have any patience left. People who are paying to watch this… do they actually watch if they can be in Mol and not being throwing knives at Fosun? I can’t understand it. And I haven’t ever paid a single pence!

He’s done exactly what Fosun will have hoped though. Not one murmur of anti-Fosun sentiment from the crowd.
There were definite murmurs and a few, low key, chants. The crowd were trying to back a shit team with a new manager, I'd say it was expected that there's be some mild positivity.

Fosun have kicked the can down the road for wholesale anti-Fosun/Jeff chants.and that can has landed as far as Man U at home at best.

Southampton, Ipswich, and Leicester (well not Southampton other than they wouldn't have finished bottom) must be pig sick that they didn't have this season's Wolves in the league as one of them (Leicester) would have definitely stayed up.

As someone said earlier this Wolves will be another one to add to the clubs growing list of unwanted records...

It’s just horrible and it won’t get any better soon. I genuinely think Arsenal will put 7-8 past us in a few weeks.
Said it in the match day thread, we’ve got nearly 150 years history behind us some of it great stuff but that was all in the past when it wasn’t very visible world wide.
We’ve decided to be one if not the worst ever top flight side in English history when the PL is a world wide viewing event.
Trust me if this carries on this will be our legacy for a long time.
Not by us as fans we can put it to the back burner but everyone else will hit us with it for years. Everyone we want to sign or bring here will know we were that club.
This isn’t just a bad relegation this is lasting damage that will stick around for years put it this way Derby are reminded about their nightmare yearly and it happened 17 years ago.
This group of players are a championship/league 1 level trying to compete in the most brutal league.
It showed today Palace were average performance wise but coasted to victory in the end and it was all very predictable.

Villa went down on 17 points in 2016 and no-one gives a shit about that.

In other news, loads of people bought tickets again for this. I don’t really get it, we are absolutely rancid and getting ripped off in the process. I’d get it if they needed their fix and are “loyal to the club”, but they won’t be there in the championship, so why are you going now!?

I'm obviously really disappointed with the result. The effort was there, but we can still improve in moments, that's for sure.

"The game is there. We started the second half really well; we were probably the better team. Their first goal was very fortunate. It's the story of our season; we needed that first goal. And then their second goal is a loose giveaway and a great finish.

"We then took the shackles off, but we need to do that at 0-0. I thought the second half we were a bit more dominant, but they ended up taking the moments. That's probably why I'm here.

"It was never going to be a quick fix, but there are moments there. You look at the stats, and there's probably not that much in it. It's fine margins and that's why we are where we are, and why they are where they are.

"We've got no one to blame other than ourselves. We've got to look at ourselves and find a way to get out of this. No one's going to give us the confidence and belief; we've got to earn that ourselves.

"It's not going to be done in a week. We knew it was never going to be click your fingers and that's it. There was a lot in there that has probably been the story of our seasons. We lacked confidence and needed that first goal. We've tried to up the intensity. We need to be able to get to work. We'll have a full week to prepare for Villa, and hopefully we'll improve again.

"We all want a magic wand, none of us have got it, the only way we'll work things out is by sticking together."

Mostly ok, I think we can all agree, though, that Hwang is to blame.

I don't think anyone has the right to judge how people choose to spend their own money.

It seems the super fans are now those who chose, many years ago for most, to not buy a season ticket. You go guys.
That’s fair enough. I’m not criticising as such anyway, more just that I don’t understand it (and price isn’t really the factor). Much the same as I don’t understand why someone paid money for Jackson Tchatchoua, or turned down £20m for Hwang.

And one good DMF.

Yay, go me. Does 2.5 years ago count as many years ago?

Anyway. Can he survive us collecting another 10 points or so by May as seems likely? The club are happy enough with that, but for all the upsides of location and pay it must become utterly miserable very quickly. I can’t quite comprehend it - it’s such a long period of time to be absolutely rancid.

I’m the meantime I think I’ll let my kids not come. It’s an entire day and they’re old enough to have other stuff to do in life. Just seems unfair now. Go Fosun.

Match attendance is just habit for a lot of people also a lot go for the social side the football will be more of a side show currently.
I’ve no interest in attending whilst the prices are where they are and whilst this ownership runs the club. I’ve been pushed out by price and zero ambition of the ownership.
I’m as deep rooted a fan as you can get but the club gives zero fucks that the likes of myself have been pushed out.
Being as deep rooted as I am what’s happening hurts beyond belief.
To add just under 30k there today is remarkable considering how shocking bad we’re.

Probably because they’ve returned to the premiership and been really good to be fair to them.

I don’t see us having the same upward trend once we’re down
