Wolves 0-1 Nottingham Forest: Verdict Thread

The apathy in the ground is strange. Has everyone else just given up? A lack luster couple of chants is all that came from the South Bank. The lad in front was still clapping urging those around “to get behind the lads” The fans gave more anger to drive Scott Sellars out of the club.
Totally this. I think everyone is resigned. It's a collective sigh at best.
Forest were poor last night, but still able to create chances to win.
Personally I am pleased there is less anger towards the players (appreciating some have differing views) but very surprised that there isn';t more vitriol aimed at the ownership.

I actually thought it was Andre who, for the first half, was the poorest of the two in midfield. He was actively hiding and not backing up Gomes in the press.

Second half Andre was the better of the two though.
I think the issue is (as mentioned) we have no style or identity. Gomes is pressing to try to make something happen. Possibly Andre isn't backing him because it risks exposing the back line. Tchatchoua is very much playing high up the pitch - unsure if that is to keep him away from defending, or to use his "pace" to attack?

There's no real style of play, other than damage limitation at the moment?

I dunno?

I look at most of those players and I feel that they're stealing a living so if they get abuse I don't really care.

I am surprised though that after 3/4 seasons of this shit that the stadium atmosphere hasn't been more poisonous. I've seen it turn on far less, and in a shorter period of time, and been really unpleasant.

Literally the worst Wolves squad I've seen in 37 years
Lucky you for I guess being young! ;-)

Unfortunately for some of us the nadir was experienced in having a day out 40 years ago to see us lose 6-0 to Rotherham in the FA Cup. This stood as the absolute pits UNTIL........ the dreaded second replay a year later losing 3-0 against Chorley at Bolton. I assure you it was grim driving home after the very necessary pub visits.

Anyway.... KTF UTW!

It's true.

Ask any of the 300,000 Wolves fans that were at that Chorley game!

You're not quite right there. There were only about 290,000 in the pub over the road from the ground with us for the last fifteen minutes.

Did anyone else catch the rocket of a finish during the half time game by the way? Slipped, missed the 'Top Bins Wins' goal by a mile and almost ripped the net off the actual goal. Absolute missile.

Went for a halftime pee and still had to fight through the masses willing to give Jeff £6.50 for a pint of piss water.

Doesn't sound too sure about why the coach wasn't happy.

Anyway, it's just words at this point. What else can he say? It's not like he's going to expand upon it: "We always want to do well and we try to do things right... but we're just not good enough players and we're being made to look like a bunch of clowns instead."

At least J-R looks like he's trying. He's the least of our problems.

I don’t know if he’s the “least of our problems”.

He’s at least joint 11th.
