We are a disgracefully poor team. And I mean disgraceful.
I can only think back to the fag end of Kenny Jackett's days when he seemed determined to draw every game 0-0 and we had the likes of Bjorn Sigurdarson, Joe Mason and Jeremy Helan leading our attack. Other than that, in 37 and a half years of watching us, I have never seen a Wolves team less likely to score a goal. Where is the creativity? What is the plan?
It's easy to give Rob Edwards a bit of a free pass but he's also the one who keeps starting three centre halves then having to take one off. Stop doing it, it doesn't stop us conceding and we don't look well organised. It's an extra defender for no reason.
Awful.
Johnstone: Being better than the 2025/26 version of José Sa is no badge of honour and you're not very good. Horrific on the goal. Don't think he'd have got anywhere the disallowed one either.
Mosquera: Moans more than Andy Mutch. Bang average.
Agbadou: Still looks like a bombscare on the ball.
Toti: Good lad, should be starting 10 games max a season at this level. Not 30+.
Tchatchoua: Shite technically and not a very good defender. Still better than the alternatives.
Wolfe: Properly shite technically and not a very good defender. Still better than the alternative.
J Gomes/André: Offer absolutely zero on the ball and aren't doing a spectacular job defensively. Will have as much impact on the World Cup as I will.
Bellegarde: Did at least try to create stuff, from crap positions, he just isn't very good.
Arias: Dreadful. All he's done so far is miss sitters and get in the way. Slow, weak, no skill and a fucking coward.
Strand Larsen: How can you really judge a forward based on that "service".
Subs: Hwang made one good pass so that's his good moment used up for the remainder of 2025. Munetsi came on, wasted a couple of fleeting opportunities and went off injured. Mané fluffed what amounted to probably our second best chance of the entire evening. Hoever actually getting minutes is a damning indictment of where we are. We hoofed it at Tolu a bit and he doesn't look very well suited to that.
Atrocious stuff. I actually don't know how we'll score again let alone win again.
