More a case of choosing between wanting to play for a higher club or Wolverhampton.

All he is doing in Amsterdam at the moment is having a kick around with the U18's and not getting on with the manager.

Sometimes it feels as if they go for players unlikely to sign, just to roll out the oh well we tried, couldn't quite push the deal through line. Getting quite used to the disappointment of Wolves transfer policy.

Yeah, sometimes the club can't win.

- Go for high profile player - why bother, waste of time, we'll never get them
- Go for middling player - waste of time, just another average squad player, no ambition
- Go for young prospect - why are we putting all our efforts into the youth teams, we need first teamers (let's ignore where Iorfa and Graham came from)
- Don't release any news - we aren't even trying to sign anyone, what an embarrassment we are

Can't knocking them for trying.

Does seem a little bizarre that the club would withdraw from negotiations in a bit of a strop through because the player is dragging his feet, if he's that good then surely it's worth waiting? He might not get another offer and decide that he'd rather come after all, Wolves aren't really in such a position to be so principled and turn their nose up.

It's only from the E&S but that's the way I took their story.

Wolves got bored waiting for him and have decided to look elsewhere, no mention of the player definitively turning the club down.

Having said previously Wolves had an interest in Ajax’s Danish defender Nicolai Boilesen, Jackett says it now looks unlikely that the player will move to the club.
