Both the current and previous managers have publicly had issues with the recruitment, why would any prospective new manager think things would be different for them?

I completely disagree. We have a good squad and plenty of time left in the season to turn things around. Any half decent manager would see it as an attractive proposition and fancy a go at it, particularly if they're out of work or in a lower league. The only sticking point I can see is what finances they'd get promised to be available.
Well the early rumours already suggest Potter & Moyes have zero interest in us.

Of course, we could offer it to a league 2 manager and they’d be interested, but anyone with any serious ambitions or sense will look at how we’re ran, will look at Jeff Shi & will run a mile.

Put it this way. If I were managing a top 6 championship team already and saw Matt Hobbs’ number flash up on my phone, I’d be swiftly blocking it. That’s where we’re at. A complete and utter shitshow ran be absolute jokers.

Managers all over Europe thrive on low budgets and get there teams performing due to tactics and coaching. Obviously funds to invest are an advantage but not necessarily a silver bullet. Anyone wanting big funds to invest in order to try and be a success aren’t necessarily sure if their own capabilities.

Or have seen our centre halves.

Final kicker for any prospective manager still interested after learning of the budget: if you thrive here on low budgets due to tactics and coaching you get sacked for being a smart arse anyway.

I’ll be watching without any pressure, like our time in the Premier League under both Jones and Mick I’m resigned to the fact we’ll more than likely be in the Championship next season.

Carragher on TV telling us how much we miss Kilman as they show a graphic that in 2024 West Ham and Wolves have conceded 71 and 70 goals... :D

Working in difficult circumstances, not having the resources you’d want etc that’s just life in the real world and it’s how probably a good percentage of coaches are working at lower levels. The not enough resources as a cop out for GON is a poor excuse, yes it’s mitigation but doesn’t excuse some very odd setups and lineups, conceding 36 goals etc.

Semedo as a CB tonight then

Or It's A 4-3-3 with Doherty pushed forwards to the right wing.

Laughable line up. Knows he’s gone so has just slung some shit up against the wall.
