West Brom (A, FAC) 28/1: Build-Up & Match Thread

I had a WV post Code
Wolverhampton dialling code, I remember it changing from 0192, to 01902.

The trouble when I was younger was between Ashmore, and the Beacon Estate by the Square, we never really got involved wether that changed after 82 when I left I don't really know, we only had 1 ruck with Ashmore then, that's when they were heading to the square we got involved by the roundabout where you head to the Milestone.

We were the 1st kids on the Broadway Estate in around 1968, most were Wolves, but 2 of my best mates were Albion, Martin and Chris Buckle, Chris still goes to the games, they took me once in the Brummie road end when I was about 12 or 13.

Have some fantastic memories of Those times as kids.
Had some problems when we used to from Ashma to the old park inbetween us, where they've built housing in the 80s/ 90s.

Post codes and dialling codes were developed as a means of identying the nearest major sorting offuces and exchanges. Neither bear any relationship to ceremonial or administrative boundaries.
Yeah I'm in Bridgnorth where Low Town is WV15 and High Town is WV16

Starting to get excited now. I hope we go straight for the jugular if we win the kickoff, just like the 2nd half against Brighton.

My Ex Wife was Ashmore, Kitchen Lane.
As kids on the Broadway we were quite insular, never really went off the estate, No Need, 2 parks, plenty of greenery. We only really started going of the estate to play football or Cricket I think it was Sneyd School playing fields, that was only really in the Summer Hols.

Most the kids on the estate used to play in one big group we were nearly all the same age, only 3 or 4 years between the eldest and Youngest and most the Youngest had bigger brothers so used to join in with us.
As I say great carefree days

Just had a look on Betfair. Surprised how we are such strong favourites according to the odds.
9/1 for Albion to win 1-0. That's generous in my book.

Oh and the draw for the 5th round, hopefully with us still in it, is immediately after our match on ITV.

The pubs in Wolves have been open since 6am. Makes a bit a mockery of the early Ko time tbh.

Looking forward to the game, quite excited - just hope dick heads don't ruin it!

M t had one yet, Bar opens in 25 minutes, My Barman has let me down. Missus is working the bar, I am on the lash with a few Wolves friends.

Worst is A customer bought me the old Wolves Goodyear shirt (Blue), I have never seen us lose whilst wearing it.

So apologies I will be wearing Blue today

No RAN

Sa, Semedo, Kilman, Dawson, Toti, Doc, Lemina, Doyle, Neto, Bellegarde, Cunha

No Sarabia in the squad at all.

Fraser and Chirewa the only attacking players available on the bench

All of a sudden my confidence has waned a bit after seeing that line up
