What pubs are people going to before the game [emoji191][emoji23]

Depends whether I head into town and work back out or not.

The Green Man is out as we have the East, so that will be a Watford pub for the day.

If avoiding central London then who knows? The Willesden Junction would be on the edge of walkable but that part of London is a bit shit in general.

Borough Market great but an hour ride away from Wembley.

What about Marylebone area, 10 mins from Wembley by train, might be worth a look.

I don’t remember there being that many boozers around Marylebone. I would say Baker Street but the Globe doesn’t open on Sundays.

We started around Baker St before the Spurs game. Found The Metropolitan Bar Wetherspoons to be awful. You’re better taking the Metropolitan line a few stops out of the centre and see what’s open around some of the local stops.

I was thinking jubilee and maybe try St. John’s Wood. Bound to be something decent near Lords

St. John Wood. A scary thought and one that I think would be very doubtful...

Looks like the globe now opens on Sundays. At least they are advertising the Liverpool v spurs game for this Sunday. Euston Tap opens at 11am. Sounds like the pub near Wembley that Wolves fans are heading to is called the Torch. Such a shame the Bree Louise has closed...

The torch is on bridge street right by Wembley Park. There is also the Crock of Gold nearby. Both are designated East Side pubs.

When travelling by car/ minibus before, I’ve parked at Stanmore and got the tube, got off just before Wembley at Kingsbury, where there are a few pubs (including a Wetherspoons). It’s literally a couple of minutes back on the tube to Wembley.

The Torch and Crock of Gold are the two pubs recommended by CAMRA for trips to Wembley.

It's a shame Wembley is the middle of nowhere really. I expect I'll work my way there from south east London in a staggered fashion and see if we can find some places en route on the Jubilee Line.

I'll let you know what our plans are nearer the time Banjo. Me and my son get into Kings Cross at 11-39, might head to the Euston Tap for a beer

Me & ndorset are driving to Woking (engineering works in the way on that day) then its only 30 mins into Waterloo from there - what time we arrive will depend on when we set off from down here.

Euston is an easy journey from there.
