Welcome to Wolves Vitor Pereira

Just for the record, first 15 PL games:

Dave Jones: W2 D5 L8 Pts 11
Mick McCarthy: W3 D4 L8 Pts 13
Nuno Espirito Santo: W5 D4 L6 Pts 19
Bruno Lage: W6 D3 L6 Pts 21
Julen Lopetegui: W6 D3 L6 Pts 21
Gary O'Neil: W5 D3 L7 Pts 18
Vitor Pereira: W7 D2 L6 Pts 23

Last 4 or 5 games I've started getting similar vibes to when Nuno was here, in that I never go into games expecting to lose, obviously we will will lose games but I think with players and coaching team we can get points against anyone.

I’m not giving Shi any credit though.
Not least as he voluntarily threw away a minimum of 2 eminently winnable games - we've beaten them both this week - with a manager who was evidently done (I would argue it was more than that) and we could have hired Vitor any time we wanted.

A better bottom three and that could have cost us dearly.

Turnaround is immense. I do still rate Lopetegui's time here but the achievement is probably even better considering the state of the club and squad when Pereira came in. With how bad things were after the loss to Ipswich, we could have easily gotten in someone shit and gone down. Fosun very lucky to stumble on a good coach who was desperate for a chance in England.

I wish we'd back him, he has earned it. Getting nowhere near enough credit amongst fans or the general media (who probably still think O'Neil was good).

Let’s says two draws at worst. That’s possibly a couple of positions up the table. How much is that worth…much greater than and ticket revenue rises I’d imagine

Bonkers to think he took us over with the table like this
People will point, rightly in a way, that Wolves are fortunate that the bottom three are utter shite.

But when you look at West Ham being 9 points clear of Wolves, with a far superior goal difference, then I feel that is a better barometer to judge Vitor's performance on given that Wolves now sit only 3 points behind with a better GD.

Always expect us to score now, it’s a rarity when we dont

In fairness Gary O'Coyle had us scoring in most games.

Man Utd (A) (robbed of a 100% penalty)
West Ham (A)
Brighton (A)
Brentford (H)
Newcastle (A)
Aston Villa (A)
Arsenal (H)
Bournemouth (H)
Liverpool (A)
--------------------
Arsenal (A)
Everton (A)

Only 11 blanks under him in 54 league games.
