Welcome to Wolves Vitor Pereira

Bonkers to think he took us over with the table like this
All Vitor is proving is we chucked this season in the bin for no reason other than Hobbs and Shi being afraid to say "we got this wrong" and then when they had no choice but admit it, they basically put GO in as our caretaker and all discipline in the squad fucked off.

What's most infuriating is that it's the kind of season where the top six has been easier to breach for non-Sky Six clubs...could have been us

I wish we'd back him, he has earned it. Getting nowhere near enough credit amongst fans or the general media (who probably still think O'Neil was good).
I listened to what soccer Saturday had to say after the game…

Clinton Morrison had talked up how we were in a bad place, discuoline had gone etc. and thatVitor had done a good job. But then at the end couldn’t help himself by saying that O Neil wasn’t backed…

Chapper’s on 5Live, since Vitor took over, Wolves have won more points than the three promoted Clubs put together.

Quite remarkable to be safe before Easter after the Gary O 💩 show. I genuinely don’t think any manager, and I include Pep, Klopp and Slot, could have done a better job.

It’s easy to stick the knife in on Lop but VP job was harder. Firstly the squad Lop had was better, he had a nice break to put his plans in place and had an extra game to do it.
VP pretty much had to hit the ground running with a lesser squad.

Vitor is also a more likeable character than Lop by a mile, and yes it matters (to me anyway).

It does like Nuno VP knows how to keep on the good side of the fans.
It’s a simple case of the manager having the attitude of feeling grateful to manage the club and not us feeling grateful that said manager is managing the club. Lop was odious and often had the “don’t you know who I am” attitude

I never really got that day-to-day with Lopetegui.

He's a chino-wearing Chris de Burgh prick who's about 3% as talented as he thinks he is, and the Ballbag stuff (twice) was truly unprofessional and odious, but in the main he didn't act like Hoddle did (now there really is someone who thought he was doing us a favour). Nor was he as much of a fucking wanker as Lage was, an overpromoted coneboy who couldn't speak English even vaguely properly and managed to fall out with numerous modern day legends.

100%

I’d be interested to see what he’s like IF we found ourself in trouble or a real bad vein of form though.

I personally like him, and prefer upfront people/managers being direct rather than being rhymes wrapped in riddles

We were in trouble and a bad vein of form when he arrived, we also had a poor run after the first few good results.

He’s done a great job in difficult circumstances.

Firstly, taking over a deflated and hopelessly out of form side and, secondly, not getting overwhelming backing in January.

I just wonder whether Fosun will view him as Dyche style appointment - brought in to keep us up, but not viewed as a guy that can take us forward?

Who knows? Time will tell.

He just has to replicate as near as he can what he's achieved so far and that's miles better than the last 4 seasons.

He did lose 4 in a row in January.

Hell of a response since especially given he blatantly didn't get everything he wanted in terms of incoming players.
He did, but Arsenal Chelsea Liverpool Newcastle with 3 being away.

I’m not taking anything away from him. Bloody brilliant. Early part of his reign too.

I meant more so if next year we find ourselves after 10’games being in bottom 3, you could see a very different VP given his history, that’s all.

Hopefully that isn’t a situation we are in anyway

Jeff has no ambition to finish any higher than mid table at best, he told us so last year in his pre season ticket rise speech. To sack a manager who looks capable of that unless they've had a fallout would be madness
