Welcome to Wolves Vitor Pereira

I think where we differ is I do think Shi gets it versus his brief. It's essentially the Ashley model, spend as little as you realistically can but open the chequebook if you absolutely have to. It's a model that doesn't work with a strong manager in place, which is why I think there will be a fall out at some point next season. Be delighted to be wrong though
I just think that Vitor has waited so long to manage in the PL that it would take something monumental for him to get to the point where he walks.

But you’re absolutely right, if there’s someone capable of pushing him that far it’s Jeff Shi.

I think he's 3 or 4 new players away from a very decent side, and i hope even jeff can see that.

I`m happy with Pereira, just don`t give him an extended contract yet. Plenty of time.

There is a wonderful story of De Rossi and his 2006 world cup medal if people out there are interested to go find it.

I mean you could just tell us :D

Meanwhile, we have the 3rd most clean sheets in the PL since Vitor arrived (Forest and Palace have more)

40 conceded in 16 games before he turned up

Also since Agbadou was signed and Toti returned from injury, plus the addition of Doc as a third CH. 👍

Toti wasn't injured under O'Neil. He did his hamstring vs Man Utd on Boxing Day.

If you're going to defend iPad Gary then at least get the facts straight.

Didn’t realise Doc works under a different manager to VP. We have one who just selects and coaches the third CB - funky.

What I was trying to say was defensive performances improve dramatically when those three are combined. We let in eleven in the four games Toti was missing (under Pereira) I didn't mention O'Neil.

Luis Miguel got his for running down the touch line, jumping up and down and geeing up the fans in the lower BW after Munetsi dribbled the ball into the corner at the end and it set off the whole stadium singing.

Worth it.

the bench in the last 5 minutes were AWESOME. I mean, they had the whole family enclosure up and on their feet. It was fucking brilliant to see!

Could see Potter having a word with VP at the end. He wasn't a fan of it all clearly.

Can see why WH would be bleating about it, especially with SL also given it large at the end too, but fuck them, moaning about celebrating is pathetic. The whole point of sport is to enjoy the good moments.

GO final 14: W2 D3 L9 F22 A32 Pts9 1 clean sheet
VP first 14: W6 D2 L6 F17 A18 Pts20 5 clean sheets

The thing is, Potter’s tenure has not exactly got off to a flying start and I guess he would have liked to have had the impact VP has had rather than the very minor improvement over Lop.
