Welcome to Wolves, Prince Oniangue

Nobody mentioning the audacious flick, control & pass over his own head in the second half vs Reading? Didn't look slow or ponderous then.

I thought he was trying to control the ball....

I said the other day we should go back in for Emi. He looked a great keeper from QPR onwards. With our new ambitions, New owners, head coach being a goalkeeping legend and regular football I reckon he would walk here

Yeah. Him or Buffon.

He made more passes than anyone in the league that day and completed 88% of his passes. Definitely one of those players that fans see the odd thing that he does wrong and nothing that he does right.
It wasn't just the odd thing though. I lost count of how many times he gave it away. 5 yard sideways or backwards passes are great for the stats but not for the eyes.

I definitely see a future at Molineux for both Evans and Price and I'm a fan of both. I think Evans is very underrated and Price slightly overrated FWIW - but both have so much potential, it'd be daft to let them leave.

Well he obviously didn't give it away that often if he completed nearly 90% of his passes. Price makes plenty of 5 yard passes sideways or backwards but is hardly ever criticised. I think both players have their upsides and downsides but both can be good enough in a midfield as long as they are played correctly with others around them. I agree with Langers too that Evans is slightly underrated and Price overrated probably because Price came through the ranks.

I think Price plays at a higher tempo and sees the game a lot quicker mentally than Evans does but doesn't have the sheer talent of Evans. Evans upside is greater than Price but he can't quite get it together mentally yet, if and when he does he will be a hell of a player. Although many a road is littered with talented but mentally defunct players.

How old is Evans, just gone 22? There's a lot more to come from him.

Also a fan of Price but he has struggled to impress a string of managers in training - or so it seems. A number of managers have come & gone and every one of them has attempted to find any excuse to not play Jack Price. Zenga clearly favours Evans and with an influx of new players, I fear for his future at the club.

Extremely harsh to write Zyro off. He looked great before his injury and made an immediate impact.

Don't think he ever really played that role in L1? We mostly played 4-4-2 up to Christmas, then when we did play someone behind a lone striker in the second half of the season it was Jacobs or Edwards.

He was excellent for the first three months of 2014/15 until he broke his wrist.
IIRC KJ tried him there in the FA Cup at Oldham. He was dreadful.

Are we allowed to like both players? :)

Both strong technically - Price moves the ball quickly and we are stronger defensively with him in the side and Evans has a good range of passing with the attacking ability to create and score I feel!
I prefer Price and Evans to the lacklustre Saville. Without his goals he is utterly gash.

I am amazed that despite how well he has played in the past two games that many here still regard Batth as a bit part player. IMHO it is only now that Danny seems to have finally got over his injury problems and has been close to getting back to his best.

In fact when we have added a few more quality players to the squad I believe we will see a lot more from him and he will go on to play an important part in helping us fight for promotion.

Remember this prediction!

Oh yes welcome to the Wolves Prince Oniangue....

Where you been AstralTrader ???

Danny Batth really isnt a good defender. He's a clogger, he panics, no real skill on the ball.

Somewhere between this 👆 and this👇lies the truth.

Look guys you must admit he has played well in our last couple of games. What I am saying is as the season get's underway I predict he will improve and for the reasons I gave above.

Wait and see!!

He isn't bad but his form wavers wildly based on his partner and he's simply too slow and weak to cut it in the Premier League. He's good in the air and can put in a tackle but when he has to chase the ball or read the movement of a decent striker he is found out too easily.

Walter has just said that Prince will be ready to make his debut this weekend, according to Spiers.

I hope that's true CM has been a weakness so far. Have we seen the last of Edwards?

however one swallow does not a summer make. His form last year was close to Quirks description. I hope that with better players around him and in front of him he improves. Lots of potential that remains unfulfilled. He has had lots of chance to show class and composure. Lets hope
