To be fair, Silva did have quite a bit more chances to do it:
62 games, but only scored 4 goals in 2 498 minutes.

While Guedes did:
18 games, only scoring 2 goals in 971 minutes.

Silva may be a pup, but he's not even shining in the Belgian league, at Anderlecht.

He had a very brief period of actually trying. I wouldn't say he was good against United and Villa in Vitor's early games - he will forever have the gift of pulling out passages of play that you wouldn't have off a terrible pub player, like how can you not pass the ball two yards - but he did put the effort in.

There has pretty much never ever been any quality about his game. For the kind of fees that he's somehow (hi Jorge) attracted through his career, he might be the worst cost : ability footballer in the history of the game. He's genuinely fucking shit, I don't think he has any attributes whatsoever.

He had a brief renaissance when Vitor first came in, but seems to have disappeared again. Given Vitor appears to be very good at spotting the trouble makers or problematic people in the dressing room, it speaks volumes that Guedes hasn’t been involved or included in the matchday squad behind someone like Forbes, who we’re obviously not signing.

I should imagine he’ll be off in the summer. My guess will be on loan as no one is buying him.
