Welcome to Wolves Boubacar Traore

Good news. Brings something different to the midfield and plenty of scope for improvement too. Hopefully he's back soon

He'll have one good season with us, get labeled the new Kante, and we'll sell him for £60m+ in 2024 to Chelsea.

He is quality, to be fair. Pleased with that.

Central Mid is stacked. This could be the last season of Neves and Moutinho but Wolves have gone from having no one backing them up except Dendocker to now having Nunes, Gomez, Lemina, Traore, Hodge. Clearly been an area of focus, with injuries (like Traore's) and three in the middle there should be plenty of chances. Then see what the summer brings.

Traore linked with Borussia Mönchengladbach.

Huge fan of fake Traore and surprised he didn't start v Everton. Why is he not fancied?

You were surprised he didn't start against Everton? Why? He hasn't started a game for Wolves this calendar year.

Don't think he's "not fancied" either.

1) Didn't join up to pre-season until really late
2) We only play 2 CMs at the moment and he isn't one of the best 2
3) He's only just turned 22 and not made 50 league appearances in his entire career yet

He's to an extent a developing player. Should probably be CM #4 of 4 (getting Hodge miles out of the way and on loan to someone like Kidderminster, which is his current level) and say, Brownhill (as unglamorous as he is) would be #3. Different story if we went 4-3-3 at any point which we could do.
