Welcome to Wolves Adam Armstrong

As expected has taken the no.9 shirt
This is totally positive for me.

Shows he’s our starting CF next season - painful as it is, that’s what we need to plan for.

We will need to have the best in class and he’s exactly the right fit.

One season in that joke of a league is enough for any of us.

It also sets a standard for Tolu. He may be off anyway, but Armstrong is a known quantity that he has to play better than if he wants to earn the starting striker spot.

likely to be a big man/little man combo, no? Play the 2 together?
Armstrong will take Hwangs place imo.
Would like to think so. Tolu is good at putting himself about it a bit and giving defences something to think about, just not very good at scoring. Hopefully Armstrong is the 'fox in the box' who can feed off the big man

We can bring back Steve Claridge to take Hwang’s place and it would be an improvement.

Think Armstrong had his best championship season off the left. Friend who's a Southampton fan reckons he's much better out there than through the middle.

Not sure that he's 'not very good' at scoring. Obviously the sitter last Saturday was poor but his goals in the league cup were good finishes.

From what we have seen of him so far he hasn't been very good at scoring though he has scored a couple of lovely goals
I'm hoping we use him in tandem with Armstrong for the rest of the season.
We also seem to be putting more crosses in recently so if that carries on we'll have a better idea what to expect from them next season.

Me too, hopefully an affective big guy/small guy combination that can work well together. I do like Tolu

Chanting: “4-4-2! 4-4-2!”
