Welcome Bruno Lage

Nuno leaving doesn't tally with that. I think they believe they have a magic formula of squad regeneration and youth that will get us there and believe another manager will do that.
They can believe that.

I once had a mate who reckoned he could eat an entire pack of crackers with no accompaniments in five minutes.

I told him he couldn't.

He couldn't.

I gave my view of the facts, not my opinion of those. Done enough disappointing for one day

I mean... what size pack of crackers are we talkin about here

Like one of these:

No chance.

Isn't it anybody can't eat more than 3 or could be 5 dry crackers consecutively?

Your mission for tonight gentlemen should you accept it...

No accompaniments, no drinks.

Heads up, I admit I can't. But if it was oreos, I'm down to try.

no accompaniments? you're saying it would be less impressive if they were topping with a bunch of meats, cheeses, or jams?!
Yes. The issue is the dryness. With no toppings or any drinks, the moisture in your mouth totally goes after just a couple of crackers.

Eating and drinking competitions were a thing on the bike rallies I did in the 70/80's, invariably the eating comps were dry crackers....don't remember anyone ever getting 4 down

The student halls I lived and then worked at had a challenge for as many dry crackers in 60 seconds and I don't seem to recall anyone made it past 3. I bet Nuno could eat at least 6 though, easy.

I can understand the scepticism about Lage. I don't understand how Gerrard would be significantly better though? Especially considering our young Portuguese contingent.
What makes anyone think that Steven Gerrard would leave the enormous Glasgow Rangers to join Wolves anyway?

He wouldn’t.

All the while he is winning up there, in a (not even, now) two horse race, his stock is increasing.

It’s not the worlds biggest secret

It’s not the worlds biggest secret which job he wants next.

*was what I meant to say

Yeah, has FFP being put in place yet and clubs fined, I remember Man City getting away with it...so, would be odd if we wouldnt
Yes, we have been fined by UEFA. As much as people think it's not an issue (and it's not as far the Premier League is concerned), unfortunately we're on UEFA's radar and we have to comply with their requirements following our breakage.

If UEFA have demanded that we have to at least break even every year for the next three as part of our punishment, then that's the FFP item they're talking about; not the FFP regulations per se.

Bruno's first day... At 5:35 Bruno takes a picture of the North Bank. The audio stops just as the bloke showing him round points at the South Bank and went to say "that will be where the fans boo you from" ;)
