We’ve only gone and bloody done it - Wolves 3-0 West Ham - verdict thread.

How are we so far below West Ham?

They look worse than us at our worst.

Completely stunned.

Is it a performance I feel is particularly replicable? No, I don’t think so; scoring on 75% of your shots is always going to be a bit of an anomaly.

That said, we went through 90 minutes without making a mistake into a calamity. Whatever else he gets right or wrong, fair play to Rob for that. Has to be nigh impossible to get players in our position to give it the effort we did today.

Thanks Nuno! Doing us a solid there, though the lack of handshake with RE at end was a bit classless. Sign he's about to get the sack?

But on serious matters, what a breath of fresh air Mane is in this shitfest of a season. Now if we can never see any of our current RB options ever again this transfer window...

Got tickets this morning to take my son & daughter to their first Wolves game next weekend v Shrewsbury. I thought that was our best hope of seeing a win… then West Ham rocked up 😂

West Ham were absolutely WOEFUL but I couldn’t care less. We said we needed to back up the Man Utd performance with a win and that’s what we’ve done, plus a clean sheet. Of course in the grand scheme of things it counts for nothing, really - but nice to win a game (FINALLY). Mane was fantastic, Hugo B & Tolu both very good - and Joao Gomes also played really well in the first half. Hope that’s more of a decision to rest him rather than an injury.

Almost forgotten what it feels like to arrive at a Saturday evening having experienced a win. Could get used to it!

Two poor teams who will be playing each other in the Chump next season.

3-0, excellent result for a team with zero creativity.

If Mane continues to show that sort of quality, we will be saying goodbye to him at the end of the season.

Nice feeling to have won a game. A bit of confidence to build on.

It's easy to jump on the bandwagon these days, but after the defeat against Liverpool, I saw a well-organized, characterful, and competitive team. There's little to criticize today; at times we resembled Manchester City in possession, triangles, and passing. And the best news for me is the emergence of a youth academy player like Mané; that's the path to becoming competitive again.
Greetings from Spain.

Mane MOTM. Good overall performance, which is a rarity these days. And for all West Ham's possession I cant remember Sa having a single actual save to make. Meanwhile we had chances to add to the 3 we scored, even in the 2nd half where it seemed like our sole objective was to preserve the win. Krejci, Hugo, Tolu, Joao, and Arias all contributed solid performances IMO.
