Vitor sacked

Fat Sam can fuck right off.

I never liked him when he was effective, and the last time that label applied was eight and a half years ago at Palace.

Absolutely dismal at Albion, who had appreciably more chance of staying up when he took over than we do now. Relegated by miles despite us donating them 4 points.
Just to add that someone in that clip commented that Fat Sam reportedly said he 'possibly' watched Wolves when he was a little kid. Wtf is all that about? Hasn't he been quoted a zillion times about being a Wolves fan?
Anyway, it's all just gossip that we used to ignore in the pub.

He's mentioned someone in his family taking him to the odd game or two. He's never actually said that he was a Wolves fan.

Blimey, Rui Vitoria was mentioned as an option on the Fancast pod immediately after Vitor's sacking simply by way of looking at Portuguese managers on Transfermarkt and sorting by worst win ratio.

I’ve met his nephew through work and although he and his dad (Sam’s brother) are Baggies fans, he stated that his Uncle was a Wolves fan.
I wonder what that means to a professional player/manager though considering the affinities they must hold for clubs they been employed by.

Not much.

Ian Rush, Steve McManaman, Robbie Fowler and Jamie Carragher all grew up as Evertonians and Peter Reid was a Red as a kid.

Thanks for clarifying that. Looks like a standard over exaggerated point once again by the media. A bit like Eric Idle and Jeremy Corbyn then...

So, every single, available, manager with a pulse are all “considered unlikely”?

Are we in Warnock, Pardew, Bruce and Curbishley territory yet?

I wonder how long it will be before the “penny drops” to Shi that everyone thinks he’s a despicable cunt and no one wants to work for him?
At this point the only pull is short term cash gain and a payout without too much career damage. Pretty much everyone will have realised that there's no structure, plan, or ambition at the club. That you'll have to sell to buy, and that if you're told otherwise, Shi is lying to your face.

Who the fuck wants to work with that?

No , looks like our new Manager will be someone that will be a new name to most people .

Who ever heard of the Brighton Manager before he joined them , or Bournemouth for that matter ?

They'll get someone for sure and I'd sooner they'd take their time than rush - as they clearly had been doing . Will that person keep us up ? Looks unlikely - and that's where the sticking point is .
Will they appoint a Manager who they commit to even if we go down , and then give them the finances and backing to push for promotion next season .

There are actually Managers out there who will work with that .

No guarantees of any money in January for a new manager, whatever is promised to them, and even if there is money, no players suitable would be mad enough to come here then anyway.

I don`t think whoever they employ will fill us with confidence.

There is no 'they', there is just Jeff and he's a dick head.
