It's a strange one to deal out punishments as those "fans" clearly aren't bothered whether their team is playing or not so banning them from competition is not the answer and playing behind closed doors isn't either. I do wonder if they could trial no home games an no travelling fans for countries found guilty, it doesn't punish the players then so much as they have no control over the fans chanting.

If England go three at the back then Coady should be a shoe in. No one in the premier league has done his role for as long and as well who is England qualified. I would love to see it TAA and Chilwell given licence to create Kane Sancho Sterling up top, It compensates Henderson in midfield.

Obviously the football is secondary tonight; UEFA now need to be seen to be taking this situation more seriously. It isn't going away and it shouldn't be up to those being abused to take a stand. The reaction of Southgate and the players was exemplary but this is a governing body's problem, not that of players and coaches.

That said - you can only beat who you're up against and I've seen enough of these games where we play awful opposition and limp to a 2-0 victory that poses more questions than provides answers. We did - against a team who would struggle in League One based on the two matches vs England - play some excellent football and 10-0 wouldn't have flattered us. Winks was a lot more positive than he is for Tottenham, Barkley played his role very well, Mings had nothing to do defensively but played the ball out well (which puts him ahead of Keane straight away), Chilwell is so clearly ahead of Rose that it shouldn't even be up for debate now and the front three were all typically excellent.

Yeh because it's UEFA's fault not your scumbag countrymen.

You need a long hard look in the mirror and ask yourself about your fans and what you can do as fans to eradicate this sort of behaviour not depend on authorities to do your work for you.
