UEFA Nations League & Euro 2020 Qualification

VAR is the death of the game. Wait till next season , in this format it's going to be a fucking shambles

Completely agree. If VAR doesn't settle arguments (it doesn't) then it's pointless.

How so? The use of it tonight has seen all decisions correct. Hopefully with replays on the screens for the new season it'll be better for the fans.

Sorry. If it gets it right I am fine with it. It was a gnats cock but its offside

If anyone who actually goes to game is in favour of this shit in its current format I'll be absolutely amazed

He's offside. No complaints from me.

I'll take a small delay if it stops my team conceding bullshit goals that shouldn't exist.

I have a season ticket and I'm in favour of it as long as there are replays for the fans.

So every game next season at the game we have to wait for the ref to check each goal to see if it stands, completely takes the emotion away from celebrating a goal.

Not to mention the fact we have been told it's for clear and obvious errors, so when there is an offside as marginal as that it shouldn't even be checked.

I have hated it since the idea was first mooted. And I have seen nothing that makes me want to change my mind.

However, it is coming, so I have to accept it and try not to whinge too much.

It resulted in a goal, all goals are checked.

You can see where AI algorithms will start to be used to make these decisions which would happen much faster than it currently takes

Which is ace for the armchair follower and shite for those in the ground

He's offside which is a yes or no question. There is no debate. 0.01 yards or 10 yards, the answer is the same.

On that point I agree Dan. As soon as a player who hasn't been flagged is shown to be offside, then it is a clear error. Margin is irrelevant.

My view is that if you don't like VAR you have to be happy with bullshit decisions given against you

I'm not happy with bullshit decisions therefore I'm in favour of VAR

Stones has been awful
