Seemed like everything was set up to make Zelensky look 2 inches tall. Thankfully he stood his ground and stuck to his principles.
Bully boy tactics from Trump and his entourage completely with the intention put him on the back foot.

Some people really need to get a hold of reality.
Political leaders re-writing history by making out Zelensky is somehow the problem and cause of it.
Easy to go after the smaller nation with no nukes than stand up to the Russian bear.
Any country invaded would fight for its own sovereignty so they need to stop with the sanctimonious bollocks.

The UK and the EU need to pull out all the stops quickly. We need to speak with one voice and committed to increasing our militaries and being prepared to back Ukraine, even with boots on the ground. You can't appease Russia. At the very least, we need to put tens of thousands of troops on the ground in Poland. I fear Romania is a very big problem at any moment.

Pretty much makes NATO a redundant force also with USA taking this stance. The only way Europe can stand up to this is by as many nations pulling together.

The situation currently is a dream for Putin with America and Europe in disagreement and divided.

None of which will come as a surprise to Putin. He has bot farms working overtime spreading propoganda and misinformation across all social media in the west to deliberately stoke anti EU rhetoric, leading to a strong rise in extreme rightwing, partly anti-democratic parties coming to power or close to it. Trump is almost certainly a Russian asset, although he's probably too dumb to know it. Wouldn't surprise me in the slightest if he's not been working on this for 20 odd years.
