Trump is the symptom of a dysfunctional society, in reality if it's not him it's just someone else.
 
The problem with martyring Trump is that he didn’t create the wave he’s been riding, he merely co-opted it.

You can kill him if you like, but this is a product of decades of abhorrent governance, not a product of Trump entering politics. The Tea Party was a thing long before Trump decided he wasn’t a Democrat anymore.

I don't see that as 'grovelling' they're just reporting what has happened and not showing any for or against agenda.
That's their job. It would be interesting for one of their own reporters to get the chance to interview Trump. Unlikely to happen because the right wing of politics see the BBC as Liberal, lefty socialists.

It isn't how many things he has done that matters, but what he has done and is doing. Deporting people without trials is not something that you ignore, if you are reporting things how they are.

It's still not grovelling though. It's not for the BBC news to judge him, they could well make a programme about the ramifications of his actions. Don't think they've ignored anything, just choosing not to go in hard yet. We'll see how it's reported in the future.
