We luckily got in within the first few buses as pulling up I could see what was ahead of us. A few in front of us didn’t help by not having passports to hand and a few others holding crisp €50 notes and trying to blag it in.Crowd control getting in was a disaster though he says. Crushes narrowly averted after ridiculous extra security checks (showing passports despite having to show your passport to get the ticket in the first place, causing huge bottlenecks)
I share blame four ways there, it was a completely defendable goal - Traore gave it away, Vallejo defended poorly and let the cross in, Willy went to the striker and the ball went over him, and Vinagre wasn’t awake at the far post. Any one of them does better and it’s not a goal.
I didn’t see what happened with the second very clearly, it looked like Vinagre had it under control, did it bobble over his foot?
Traore was excellent - was it three of theirs booked for fouling him? Plus getting his head up and picking a pass for Jota - pretty much exactly what everyone’s been saying he can’t do, really pleased with his development so far this season.
Quite gutted it’s only a one goal win after that late goal, but 3-2 is a great first leg score line. Really proud of the lads tonight.
If we had jonny instead of vinagre we would have won it 3-0. We dont need two attacking full backs, and vinagre has a lot to learn. Would be a great loan out for him and gibbs white if any of the bottom prem clubs agree to start them every game
Great game. Loads of fun. It's fucking criminal that the vagaries of the draw mean that one of us or this damn decent Torino side are going to miss out.
My six penn’orth for what it’s worth. I thought – simply put – that Wolves were a better football team than Torino. If we finish 7th in the Prem, then I’d say Torino would be 14th or 15th. That might be because we’re a week or two fitter than them, but I don't think say. To use the forum cliche I thought we only played 6 or 7/10 last night. And fitness is not going to change much before next Thursday.
I thought both Adama and Ruben Vinagre were at fault for the goals. But let’s be charitable – how many combined starting appearances at wing back do they have? Big show of faith from Nuno.
Loved that 2nd goal, but I’m going to continue to be cautious until Adama is doing it every week. And I was almost more impressed by his heading ability than anything else – never seen that before.
How did that foul on Neto in the build up to the 3rd goal escape a red? Bloody hell, it was straight out of MMA.
Willy Boy wins tackle of the season – if there’s a GIF please put it up.
And we’re 1/5 to go through next week. If Torino beat us by tow goals or win 4-3 then fair play to them.
Vinagre was our worst player by far. Not sure what positive inpact he brought that jonny couldnt have done.Nonsense. Without having Vinagre on that side we'd have lost a lot of momentum, threat and his positive impact on the game. You cant just presume Johnny would have had all of the positive impact, but none of the negative
wasn't able to watch most of the game due to streaming problems, just saw the vinagre penalty... oof!

The reality is neither vimagre or gibbs white are good enough to be consistant against decent competition. Either we continue to risk losing points by playing them or they sit on our bench. Neither option is great, I dont want to loan them out either but jonny and mou cant play every minute of every game
If Mou means Joao then fuck this idiot off this forum.
