There goes Julen!

More than ever the whole thing just feels like normal "inside baseball" shit to me, just the type that doesn't usually leak.

Our fans love to catastrophise about everything ever, and Ballbag is a fucking prick who stirs shit.

Great combination.

Realistically if he didn't walk in the week following the Arsenal game then he wasn't going to.

Seems he wants to give Giles a go (I'm not convinced he's up to it, good lad and has plenty of attributes, but I don't think he's a Premier League left back, we'll see).

Wide forward was on the agenda anyway I think with Adama leaving. One who scores would be pretty handy.

We desperately need a keeper, we cannot have Sa as #1 again.

On RAN, presume we never paid the extra £10m to wipe out the sell on clause. So when he goes we have to give Angers 50% of the total fee

Even if Adama goes we still have Pod, Hwang, Neto, Chiquinho and (maybe) Nunes for wide forwards. Think we'd have to sell Pod (please) before we spend there.

Perhaps it was only ever really Boro who would have gone in for him for a decent fee if they'd gone up. I'm not really convinced either, but that's just based on my Boro mates feedback which basically amounts to 'he's alright'. They're certainly not as starry-eyed about him as some would believe.

Hwang will stay unless someone bids silly money for him. He is the ideal squad player, one of those that managers just love. Also has a nice habit, when plonked in the right position of being the right place to pick up scraps in the area

His attacking numbers are genuinely brilliant but he doesn't pass the eye test for me.

Certainly more Lee Naylor than Jackie McNamara defensively.

The thing is, a huge issue for us is creativity, one of the highest assistors in the Champ for the last couple of seasons should definitely be given a chance in a side that can't create.

I do get that. And if you basically let him go free on that side and tell Semedo to stay at home on the other side (may as well, as he has zero attacking output) he'd probably still create. Crosses are crosses.

Defensively though....I dunno. Maybe it's me. I like proper defenders. It's why I loved pre-injury Jonny.

Exactly. Hwang is not gonna bag you 20 goals a season. But, he will get you some here and there and is the perfect depth man and alternate to give the opposition a different look. I hope he stays.

I think with Sa it is his brain farts, like the penalty at Leicester, that are so infuriating. He made some great saves and is not responsible for costing us as many points as you’d imagine, it’s just that when he does it’s completely avoidable. I’d be happy to see him replaced but he’s by no means our big problem.

Oh, he's a huge problem. Gives away inexplicable goals on a regular basis and at least once every three games he'll pass it straight to an opponent 20 yards out. Twice this season the opposition had 4 shots on goal at Molineux and they all went in.

He's not an option. Not when we score so few goals at the other end.

His positioning goes completely awry sometimes too. The Elliott goal against Liverpool was the most costly i can think of off the top of my head but more than once he's gone Walkabout and opened us up to problems.

He's way short both in terms of attributes and what it looks like Lopetegui demands of his GK.

Sa has no ability to play the ball out from the back either. He only ever plays it sideways to a centre back and he misses opportunities to release the ball quickly.

Then there's the moments he totally forgets what he's supposed to do and gives away a pen/goal. I think he worries the defence and that's always a concern.
