There goes Julen!

I think Jonny is done personally. Sad to see it as he never relied on pace before but 1v1 he's really struggling these days and he doesn't even seem to have that core strength he used to which would allow him to stay on the ball.

I like Semedo (has been rubbish recently though) but with him I think it will depend what JL wants from his full backs in possession.
Think you may be right. Jonny's agility certainly isn't there anymore.

I'm not sure on Semedo and if the rumoured interest from Chelsea is true I'd sell him tomorrow and get somebody else in.

Fucking useless but you feel sorry for him?
I just imagine Jeff as Tony Montana having shot Lage and his cronies then Tony Roberts stands there sweating profusely as Sellars says "what about Tony" before Jeff/Julen says "you wanna job Tony?"

On Tony...no decision on him and Liam states that JL and his crew will work with him for the next few weeks.

Might be difficult to do that as Bantz Tone will be off to Qatar with Wales

It seems like we're actually getting some experienced football people in which should only be a good thing!

I know this is a sideways step, but having been coming to Molineux since 1969 the only bit of the town I know is the Mander Centre, (Goldthorne Park) any pubs along a crooked line from the station to the ground and that's about it.
I have no idea which are the areas that players might live, or attractive areas that the club might try to 'sell' to and incoming player or indeed Julen. I think some parts of Sutton Coldfield are a bit smooth...
Anyone any ideas on where the Lopeteguis and Neves' etc might actually hole up?

The Wergs and parts of Tettenhall are really nice, plus there's the likes of Perton Ridge.

They're not going to live in Heath Town or Bilston any more than players for London clubs live in Tottenham or Brixton.

Yes, but why do you want to know?

Most of them live around Tettenhall, the club owns a fair few properties near where I live now near Bantock Park, they also push them towards Codsall where I used to live.

As Law's says it's a load of nonsense, Man City players don't live on Moss Side, Newcastle players don't live in Byker, West Ham players don't live in Streatham. Everywhere has good and bad areas.

Yes, but why do you want to know?
Just kind of curious in a passive sort of way. I'm not gonna travel over and lurk about, just wondered if they live in apartments or get set up in something nice. Having seen some of the fantastic houses American Footballers live in, I'm kind of curious where our guys live.

Historically as well as Sutton a lot have lived in apartments in Brum. One or the other is where most lived during our last PL period

Neves has been here since 2017, safe to say he's happy enough.

Regularly seen in the little Tesco next to the Claregate pub.

The club owns quite a lot of good property and they employ people to sort this out. Was more difficult during Covid so Willian Joke was stuck alone in the Mount Hotel. It's fine and all that but you wouldn't choose to do that, he was shit but I understand why he didn't like it here.

Since Mick's time we've tended to insist they live locally. Mark Kennedy used to drive up and down from Cheshire all the time, never moved after his Liverpool/City days. Did his hamstring doing that.

Coady was an exception, we let him move back to St Helens.

Walt used to commute from Dubai but had an apartment at Wergs, handy for when he was kicked out of The Crown
