There goes Julen!

Think they made Jeff an offer he couldn't refuse

Daniel Lopetegui and Fran Garagarza could be Liotta and Pesci in Goodfellas

I'd love it if he (Jimenez) had a good World Cup.
So would I. Like Neves, I always got the impression he liked it here, admittedly, that was under Nuno, but over the next few weeks I'd like to think that word will filter down the grapevine from Molineux to Jimenez that this guy is worth playing for....

I hope they fix him up with a lovely house. Some of the places you guys gave as examples are really nice, green and leafy with mature trees etc. A far cry from a lot of places on the south coast of Spain.
Wife's parents live there and whilst you get these artificially watered estates you get all of that arid, dry, dusty ground with weeds and stuff blowing around in between them. Far more impressive around Wolverhampton....

Thanks to everyone on this forum, it's a great place to capture vids of new players and Julen.
Good on ya. Keep 'em coming.

Depends where you stay, if you are inland it's green and spectacular in the winter with some much needed Rain.

On the coast it's dry, arrid and fucking warm all year round.

We probably get 15 days rain each year maximum, we have had 4 hours rain since last March on the coast, we desperately need rain.
On Julen, I have the biggest Man Crush ever already. My Spanish friends are suggesting Champions League in his third year.

Interesting that in the video JL says his wife will be moving over too

I don't suppose players and managers buy these houses do they?
Kind of a big ticket for the club to rent a dozen of these big houses..
I know it's Ireland but my mate moved houses and rented it out... suburb of Dublin, 4 bed semi, medium sized back garden small garden at the front, €2,500 a month!

Not huge numbers for the club,
if they’ve got say 10 houses at £2500 a month = £25.000
12x £25,000 = £300,000pa,
that could be 1 months wages for Joao Mouthino

Just had a look on Rightmove, sort of houses you’d expect footballers to rent on the outskirts of Wolverhampton £2500-6000 a month.
I’d assume we’ve estate agents that we deal with for this sort of thing

Sideways step but I knew a bloke who moved out of his Dalkey home and rented it out. Built on rocks on the edge of Dublin Bay. Had an underground harbour for his boat, 4 big beds all with sea views. Rented it out to some fucker from Microsoft for 15,000 a month.
Good grief!
Eventually sold it for about €6.2 million, moved up into the hills overlooking Dublin Bay in Kiltiernan, 1.5 acres 6 beds inc a safe room and a 25 seater cinema in the basement. Bought that for €2.5 million. Cool profit...

That's where Bono and the Dublin glitterati live. We used to swim there as teenagers, but we got the train out from 'real' Dublin.

Nice touch, apt too, at the end of his press conference. Out of darkness cometh light. Glad he has made a point to Raul that Wolves is more important than Mexico. I hope Raul comes back fresh and raring to go. He owes us nothing, of course, after what he went through, but slightly miffed he's fit enough for the WC but not for us, at a time when we needed all hands on deck.

He hasn't been fit for us though. No World Cup in November and he still wouldn't have played a minute for us since Bournemouth away. He would have spent less time in Mexico but his minutes for us would be the same.

The issue is only if he is dragging himself through pain and injections to get to Qatar then returns to us to go under the knife and the club have sanctioned it.

Will see how much he does play. They have a friendly this week and if he plays that it will be minimal minutes. Huge risk taking him really.
