Lopetegui is clearly a better manager than O'Neil (at this stage in his career) and I want the best possible people in key positions at Wolves so yeah I'd have him back.

O'Neil is doing a fairly good job in the circumstances though and I'm not exactly happy with the way Lopetegui conducted himself at the end.

Albeit he seems an absolute tool, his CV and rep in comparison to GoN is head and shoulders better.

He's a good manager and we should want good managers but the Mourinho style antics can get in the bin.

Personally, I think he regrets the action he took particularly as GON has done a half decent job since he took over. If Fosun start getting ambitious in football again then maybe we will need someone with more experience but I don't see that happening in the near future. Perhaps we will reset again in the Summer and show some ambition and that may mean hiring someone like Lope.

I'm not against having him back but I'm not bothered if I never hear of him again.
