Southampton have the worst manager by an absolute mile, we know first hand what that does to you.
Bournemouth's manager must be 1.001 miles away.

One win and one draw in the last 8 games and the win was against an Everton in free fall. They've purchased late in the window so the new signings may have trouble in immediately performing at a level higher than they've ever played in.

I don't think O'Neil is anything like suitable for this level either. It's more of a comment on how bad Jones is. He's around the same level as Lage, awful tactics, horrible football, talks utter shite and never takes responsibility for anything.

It's unusual to have so many teams involved in the relegation scrap , so much so that it's hard to be definite on who will go down .

Just one thing - in terms of the quality of Manager - to keep a team up you just have to finish 17th or better . Lampard managed that last season and no one rates him .
Neither O' Neill or Jones might be rated by posters here , but neither are being asked to finish 10th , 17th will do fine .

As for ' talking utter shite ' ...........I can recall several Managers that fit that criteria perfectly and in addition admitted to nothing . Lots of them head down that road .

Probably best you don't head down that road in your first 10 games though! Especially when you've on the face of it, been promoted to a position that seems wildly above your CV.

See Saunders, Dean.

Chelsea appear to have made a right balls up of the Ziyech move. Sending through wrong documents, incomplete documents, unsigned documents. The FFF are still saying the deal can't happen, even though it's PSG and they normally let them do whatever.

Jones seems really aggro, with a gigantic chip on his shoulder. And he’s always publicly laying into both players and fans.

I get developing a siege mentality but am not sure that’s how you go about it

He gets very passionate at times and lets it spill over at times . He's never short of something to say either . Interviewers only have to ask one question and Jones takes off and wouldn't stop talking unless the interviewer intervened .

However as I have said before he is far from alone in that attribute . Let's see how it pans out over the remaining months . It was definitely an interesting appointment by Southampton that few saw coming .

Has this been the most expensive transfer window in January ever ?

It seems that way from a distance without counting up all the fees paid .

I think if you removed the fees paid by 18 clubs and just left what Cheleea and Everton spent it would still be the most expensive Jan window

Yes, he's red raw awful.

Saints fans loathe him already.
I don't much about his managerial capability, but I do know that whenever I've seen him on the sideline during a game or listened to him interviewed I just think "What a cunt".

Saw something yesterday that Chelsea spent more in this window than Brentford in their entire existence.

Stopping Everton from getting their target 😂

They are right up against squad limits as well. Going to be some very pissed off players in tricky tree land.

How many strikers do they have now? Just seems ridiculous.
