Dyche deserves manager of the season if that's the case and he keeps them up

You could definitely be forgiven for thinking the board have given up

Everton in for Andre Ayew, Forest (of course) also interested

Kaylor Navas to Forest might go through late. I know Henderson is injured but don't think he's out for that long. 2 of the games he will miss are Utd in the cup which they are already 3-0 down and Man City which they're unlikely to get anything from anyway. Their squad balance and numbers is a right mess.

Psanic buying in the last few hours. Classic Everton.

I'm amazed they haven't just paid Coventry what they want for Gyokeres. They desperately need a decent striker.

I read that if Chelsea sign Fernandez then they'll have spent more in this window than all the PL clubs combined in the last January window.

Crazy.

More than every top 6 club in Europe combined SSN have said.

Bonkers.

Getting stick in Twitter world, others who are more measured are saying he's doing the job with one hand tied behind his back. Everton for so long have relied on recruiting players with 2 things - being a big club and overpaying. They can't do the latter anymore and you'd have to be 30 or over to remember them winning anything. We are in an era where Bournemouth and Southampton can spend 30m, offer a similar league position and a more attractive place to live

It'll likely be a short era, I'd imagine both will be in the Championship next season

I wouldn't like to say. Leeds, Southampton Bournemouth, Forest and ourselves have all thrown around the cash. Whoever has done the best recruitment will stay up. West Ham and Leicester should in theory already have strong enough squads and Everton are looking for a Dyche miracle, of the other 5 I wouldn't favour any as more or less likely than each other

Southampton have the worst manager by an absolute mile, we know first hand what that does to you.

Jones failed at Stoke in much the same way as Eddie Howe failed at Burnley. I’m not saying he’s anything special but is he really much worse than the incumbents at Leeds, Everton and Bournemouth?

Yes, he's red raw awful.

Saints fans loathe him already.
