They sold Wood. The general consensus is he is shit . They have replaced him with an international who looks to be as good if not better and made money . What’s not to like? The only issue is selling to a relegation rival .
Wood v Raul ? You said it was like us selling Raul. It’s not . It’s miles off . I also never said improvement. I don’t know enough or have seen enough to do that . Stop putting words in my mouth to suit your agenda
You wot mate?

Everton signing Utd and Spurs cast offs, a throwback to the Moyes years. Does show that Lampard has a pull though

Man utd And Spurs cast offs are not always bad you know. Everton have had a decent window. Binned Benitez and got DVDB and Alli. Villa fans must be chuckling. Good window for them too. Newcastle fans must think they have died and gone to heaven . 100m and counting. Liverpool and Diaz and a couple in for Spurs.

In fairness, Van De Beek & Alli definitely improve Everton's midfield (mainly because it's shite) and it does show the pulling power of Lampard and it must be nice in his position to be backed immediately with first team options by the owners.

Can't say I'd want either here. VdB is probably the more appealing of the two, but Dele would upset the apple cart here.

Dele Alli isn't improving anybody's midfield just now.

VdB will be interesting.

Not sure it’s a massive pull signing players no one else wants.

They may turn out good for them, but no one else wants them right now.

Spurs have finally signed someone. Rodrigo Bentancur & Dejan Kulusevski, both from Juve. Can't say I know a fat lot about either.

DVDB would have been good for us I think . Alli just needs a hug and some fan love and maybe a good tw*tting now and again. Big Dunc will sort him.

On what basis would van de Beek have been good? Four Premier League starts in a season and a half, he looks a complete misfit for the league.

Dele Alli has failed to produce under all of Pochettino, Mourinho, Mason, Nuno and Conte since 2018 - no reason to suggest Lampard will manage to get anything different.

Kulusevski is a proper talent - he was brilliant for Sweden when fit last summer. Has never really settled at Juventus with Ronaldo, Dybala, Bernardeschi and Chiesa all competing in a similar role.

Bentancur looked great going back two years, but has stalled big time. Could be a decent purchase at that price, but could equally fall into your typical Serie A midfield failure.

He played on an Ajax system very similar to ours I think? Man U have criminally wasted him through not playing him. He immediately relegates Donk to the bench and backs up Moutinho and Neves.

Alli can be a prick but there is a player there. I think he could fo for Everton what Lingard did for West Ham. Lingard you wrote off as awful before he went there iirc? Not having a dig, just highlighting that a club change can really help a player, but u know that

Ajax played 4-3-3 when he was there, we pretty much never play that.

United don't pick him for a reason, it's not as if he's stuck behind world class performers. Fred, McTominay, an ancient Matic and Pogba when he can be bothered turning up.

I think the problem with Delle is attitude. I'm not sure Lampard and Ferguson are the perfect types to sort that. He can look very good in some games, but there is a lot of couldn't care less dross in his record.

I wouldn't have him for all the reasons discussed today and previously...but I do think getting out of London will do him good
